I own the predecessor of this unit the FDR AX100. Simply put, this little puppy is a beast. If you're in the market for 4K for $1K grap this camera quick. The sensor is a little smaller than the FDR AX100 but the image quality will blow the competition away. It doesn't matter if you plan to film soccer games or a short film. You'll be satisfied with this camera guaranteed.

Does anyone have any comments on the Jazz 191 high definition camcorder, 8x digital zoom, 64 MGB, HDMI/cable ?
Hello,
The Jazz 191 looks like a cool little camera. I'm interested to see some of the footage it produces using the 8X zoom though. I'd personally would just use the camera on my iPhone 6 or any halfway decent smart phone on the market today. Given the Jazz 191 has such a small sensor I wouldn't go crazy with the zoom function...at all. Keeping your subject within 10 feet or so might make for some pretty sharp images. I wouldn't expect to go bird watching/filming or to film a sports event from the nose bleed section.
I do like the idea of it having internal storage. 64mb isn't really much to speak of. You'll be able to snap and store about 80-100 pictures depending on the resolution. The (up to) 8gb SD card storage capacity seems about right for a camera of this size. This may give you a couple hours of filming. Finally I know nothing about the battery life but I'd estimate a few hours at best.
