The Worst Season Ever!
on July 1, 2017
Posted by: Veryangrycustomer
I did not appreciate the line, "I want you to kill my mother, and just know... I hate you for this!" Tasteless... Very tasteless... And the end of Season 3... The world has to pay for his mistake of creating Flashpoint until he made the conscious effort to step into the Speed-force after Iris was saved by Annoying HR... He sacrificed himself to save her life... People said that was a shock... I saw it coming weeks in advance... Especially when the episode before he said what he said with screwing up and then disappeared... You knew he was going to sacrifice himself for her... And now they don't get to be together because now Flash will step into the Speed Force... This show is too predictable... I will predict Season 4... Barry Alan isn't finished... They want you to think he is... Grant Gustin is too popular and made the show what it is today... They won't get rid of him... They will do what they did with Harrison Wells each Season... make you think he is finished then come back the next season within a few episodes without him... and Presto! There he is! Someone else will suffer and Flash will never get what he wants creating another FLASHPOINT meaning he will suffer relationship status because of his sparing... The show is old and tiresome... Wally will fail, and the Speedforce will Send someone else in Barry's place... Hmmm. Wouldn't it be sweet if it were Iris? But no... It will be the woman who created the Speedforce or perhaps somebody else... Killer frost? Or like I said, Iris? I mean without The Flash her life is worthless... And she already lost her lover in previous seasons... She doesn't want to do it again so she creates a Flash point... interesting? Hardly... Get rid of Flash Point... That is OLD If that is all you got writers? Flash Season 4 will be your last... Do something new... Or season 3 will not only make the ratings suffer... But be the show's undoing... The reason the 1 star... Is because I hate it when a show does a cross over and not include them on DVD or BluRay, you have to buy the other shows to get the story... I hate that... Legends of Tomorrow, Arrow and Super girl sucks I don't want those... Now invasion is incomplete I can do without Supergirl in invasion and Also Duet, because her show had hardly anything to do with those crossovers... They need Arrow and legends of Tomorrow... But if CW is that greedy... Season 2 is my last to purchase... I watched Season 3 thinking this is going somewhere right? It did... In the toilet and the sound of the flush in the toilet was the only sweet thing in the end... As I knew it would end the way it did... HR turns into Iris, saves her, and Barry always gets the bad ending... No matter what... all heroes do... Because DC thinks when someone gets married... and are happy even with bad guys a show gets cancelled... Because Lois and Clark did... and Superman comics went sour because he and Lois got married? Whatever... I am done

Another R Rated DC Original!
on January 23, 2017
Posted by: Veryangrycustomer
I looked at the back cover from other sites, it is not Not Rated, it is Rated R. DC said no more R rated movies... They clearly lied... I think DC Universe is going down the toilet. First The Killing Joke, Rated R, Then Batman V Superman BluRay Release is Rated R, and now this... No thank you... I will not be looking forward to any more DCU movies in the foreseeable future...

Bill Murray delivers

I love his style of comedy! This story is brilliant and fun! Another four classics of his are Ghostbusters, What About Bob? Groundhog Day & Scrooged in my opinion... Buy! you won't be dissatisfied. Read Rovi's Review to see what it is about, my review is based on opinion based on quality of movie and quality of movie... It is double sided however, but that is far better than other copy... DVD-R... This is the original... WB is at it again!

This movie is a classic... Why DVD-R it WB? Because the original is also still sold here, it is an example that WB is trying to rip us off with on demand DVD-R... Movie gets 4 stars... Otherwise... Read original version review by me to see what I am saying

Just lovely eh? Selling the public a copy on demand... For outrageous price... Let us know WB that it is a copy not Original... I asked WB and they said because it is DVD-R they will not force copyright law after open... They will refund money if it doesn't work. But who wants a copy when you can have the original?

The Jetsons: The Complete First Season is a delightful four-disc set that pays full and loving tribute to the William Hanna-Joseph Barbera prime-time ABC animated series about a middle-class space-age family. Ideally, the producers might have gotten a real animation expert to discuss the production of the show, but Janet Waldo -- the voice of Judy Jetson, among other characters -- is so beguiling in her enthusiasm that it's impossible to criticize her shortcomings; she knows a great deal about the other voice actors and what the two producers were like, but nothing about the artists or writers. Waldo does commentary over two episodes, "Rosie the Robot" and "A Date With Jet Screamer." One of the most delightful characteristics she recalls about Joseph Barbera was his ability to do all of the voices while pitching and presenting a script, and he even once showed Paul Lynde what a Paul Lynde voice should sound like. Barbera also tried to pattern the relationship between George Jetson and his wife, Jane, after Dagwood Bumstead and his wife, Blondie, from the "Blondie" movies starring Penny Singleton and Arthur Lake, which was one reason he got Singleton to voice Jane Jetson. Waldo's thoughts are sometimes a bit disorganized, but viewers will come away knowing a good deal about the personalities behind the voices and the production. She speaks in loving admiration of Singleton, Jean van der Pyl, Daws Butler, George O'Hanlon, Don Messick, and Howard Morris, all of whom contributed mightily to the voices here (and on numerous other Hanna-Barbera series). The major bonus features beyond Waldo's commentary are on disc four, principally in the form of featurettes on the series and its producers. "The Jetsons: The Family of the Future" is a modern documentary using old and new interview clips. Waldo appears on-camera (looking beautiful) and her recollections are intercut with clips from the series and interviews with the producers. It's all a lot of fun, the two of them quietly delighting in their mix of 1950s Americana and futuristic technology, especially where they anticipated some development in modern living that has come to pass. The "Nuclear Family Album" is a series of video portraits of the characters from The Jetsons, and "Space Age Gadgets" demonstrates some of the devices in the world of the Jetsons, including a bed that functions like a pop-up toaster in getting its occupant up for work. Rosie the Robotic Maid gets her own supplementary section of the same name all to herself. The transfers of the episodes themselves are delightful in their detail and richness of color -- the star-field that opens the credits looks almost 3-D, and the images, both in the foreground and background, look brighter and richer than they ever did on broadcast television. There are seven half-hour shows on the first three discs and three on the fourth disc, which is filled out by the special features. Each opens automatically to a simple menu that is easy to use and maneuver around (and which plays the Jetsons theme music). The audio is mastered a little low, even compared to the menus' theme music, but has a lot of body when given a boost in volume on the playback end. Each episode gets a single chapter, which is not a problem given the standard 25-minute running time and the relatively simple story structures and gag layouts.

Original... Release... Safe to buy

WB's last attempt to sell an original... I give it three stars because the plot isn't as good as they were in season 1, but still a good show... Even season 2... I own this from browsing in store, but I won't own season 2 part 2 or season 3 as they are not original. WB re-release them please
