Great Product

I need to start out that I went through a lot of hoops to make this work, not the fault of this product but the fault lies on Xfinity.
Xfinity leased modem/routers block all universal wifi range extenders...so stupid!!! So I brought my leased modem back to the Xfinity customer store and used one of my own old modems and wireless routers that I had sitting around. Once I was able to get my network setup with my old equipment this thing worked miracles!
My house is a large flat one story house and the wireless router is at one end of the house. Therefore it does not provide strong wireless internet at the other end of the house. So I was able to position the Amped Wireless Range Extender in the middle of the house and it gave me a very strong connection in all corners of the house.
Setup was extremely easy. Their dashboard makes it very easy to navigate and complete the setup. The instructions provided are very thorough and clear.
I love the feature of the pass though outlet. Because I was using this in my living room where my TV is I needed that extra outlet. So that was very useful. Also, the ethernet port was great for our AppleTV. The wireless signal was good enough to stream Netflix and anything we watched but it was peace of mind having it hardwired into the Range Extender. I never needed the USB port but I can see how that could be useful if someone used this in a place where they could charge a mobile device.
I've never had signal issues with this and once I got through the hoops that Xfinity caused it is a great product!
The only drawback to this product and it really goes with any Range Extender...you have to use it as your primary WIFI for your house. Meaning, the network name that you setup on your wireless router should be something that your devices do not remember. The first day or so I kept having to switch the network on my mobile devices because it would default to my wireless router, therefore not allowing me to have full strength signal throughout my house. So I recommend re-naming your wireless router networks to something you will never use and setting the network name on your extender to what you would normally use. Then go through all your devices and delete or change the default network that they connect to. At this point your wireless router in simply there to give internet to the Range Extender and your Range Extender becomes your primary source of your wireless network. DO NOT try to use both through out your house you will constantly be switching between network names on your devices.
I would recommend this to a friend!
