I've had this oven for about a month and it's not as rave as some have reviewed. I do a fair amount of cooking so I'm on it 3x's a day so I feel as though I can handle myself in the kitchen. PLUS: Oven. I use the convection and that sucker heats pronto and quicker than the conventional. I would make sure you have your racks set from the get go for best performance, 2 and 5 if I'm not mistaken. SO-SO. I miss my Whirlpool cooktop. The quick boil on the large size is good but not so quick on the middle size. This is the one we use the most. We had this feature on the cooktop, large and med in the same spot and didn't care for it, either. Alot of heat escapes from outside of the pot which I think wastes energy and keeps the pot from heating as fast. The front oven controls are nice and easy to use. Dual timer is nice. You do ocassionally trip the front panel on with your body but not to worry because you have to hit another button to start the oven. Another negative is that the heat controls seem to react slowly to decreases in temp so turn it way down if you're trying to avoid an overboil. It's definitely slick in design. If you do a lot of baking, I think you'll enjoy it. Price was right. I needed the slide on and would have had to spend another $1000 for the next slide on model. Good luck and happy cooking!
