RocBox's Reviews

The ClearStream 4V HDTV Antenna uses patented technology to receive TV signals 70 miles away from broadcast towers. Ideal for suburban and rural areas where heavy foliage or roofing materials reduce the incoming signal. The dedicated UHF and VHF multi-directional elements deliver range and reception in less than ideal locations. The ClearStream 4V comes with mounting hardware and a 20in. mount with a pivoting foot to allow installation on vertical or horizontal surfaces.

We only have PBS in our area but with Portland 67 miles north and Eugene 45 miles south I figured I would give this a shot. Without a pre-amp I received only three channels but picked up a pre-amp from RadioShack and now I get 40+ channels (only 20 are worth watching) all Eugene stations and almost all Portland stations. Still tweaking the positioning for better reception on a few but overall very happy.
I would recommend this to a friend!

What is the difference between the C4-V-CJM and the C4-CJM models, besides the extra antenna on top?

I "believe" that the c4-v-cjm has add rabbit ear antenna for better reception of VHF channels other than that I do not believe there is a difference.
