A perfect TV for our living room. The previous owners of our new house left a wall-mount to put up a TV. Great idea since TV's have become almost as cheap, if not cheaper, than wall art!
We like the smart TV features to watch Netflix and Hulu via the Roku app. Picture quality and sound is great.
We weren't looking for anything fancy, like 4K or other high-end features, so this TV works perfectly.

We needed a cheap smart TV, this one's a beaut

We wanted a new Smart TV to mount in our wall-mount-friendly family room. This one was the right size and right price.
Great, bright screen with good color representation.
Excellent features with Roku included so we don't need to monkey with another Roku box to watch Netflix and Hulu.
It takes a few seconds to warm up after turning on and synchronizing with our DirecTV and Sony Receiver but from there, it's smooth sailing.
We don't need the 4K or other added features with the newer, more expensive TVs so this Insignia does the trick.

Simple receiver does the job for my surround sound

There are three types of people: those who can count and those who can't. Meanwhile, there are two types of Sony users: those who love them and those that despise them.
I think if you like Sony products you'll love this receiver. It was a relatively simple plug-and-play process to get my TV and Satellite systems to work with my surround sound set-up. The on-screen menu will whisk you away to 1995 but it's easy to use and you'll breeze through any advanced setups in a hurry.
Now I need to find a subwoofer to give this surround sound system some bass.
