First off, I did not purchase this computer from Best Buy only because I was able to save over a hundred or so dollars back in Feb. 2016. If money is tight and when isn't it for most people ? if your in the market for a new computer, then seriously, look no further. I swear this is the quietest computer I have ever owned. I can hear myself think. I have been using this computer since mid March of this year and I have not had one single issue period. If your looking for a serious gaming machine, this isn't your comp. Go spend 2 grand and up if that's your thing. I am no serious gamer but have played a few games and was amazed by the quality of this video card that is DDR5 2 Gigs. 16 Gigs of system DDR3 memory, 2 terabytes of storage. Plenty of USB ports and the 5.1 sound that is built into the board sounds great. You've got nothing to loose by purchasing this comp. it's a win, win, all the way around. What I do know is this computer is super fast and has run anything I can throw at it with no slowdowns. What more could you possibility want on a budget that gets you way more then you can even imagine. I know I enjoy mine and will for years to come. I don't know about the rest of you ? but, I sure & hel love saving money and getting a fantastic product for under $600.00 Way to go Best Buy.

I just picked up a 2009 Chevy Malibu in A-1 shape. At any rate, the stock stereo in my car was nice, but, I started having issues with my CD player throwing out errors and spitting out my CD. not to mention my Malibu did not come with XM installed like the newer cars that are pretty much standard today. My wife has the 2011 Malibu with all the bells & whistles like XM I fell in love with the serious XM and went for broke and picked up this Alpine stereo. I couldn't be happier. Just a note of caution to anyone with stock speakers in your car, keep a watchful ear as to make sure you do not overpower the speakers or you'll have a mess of blown out speakers. I know in the not to far future I am going to have Best Buy in Kingston, NY their mobile techs install a nice set up with all the base, amp/s crossovers, etc. I can't say enough about how professional as well as courteous the staff is. The tech never looked down or made me feel dumb because I had questions. This was a first for me to ever have a tech install a stereo in a car. They did nothing short of 100% job. I still can't get over how nice of a job they did. No wires, no nothing, no issues. All I can say is I am 100% stoked. Heck, for the extra few bucks to have anything professionally installed is well worth the peace of mind all by itself. All I do know is, the mobile techs at the Hudson Valley Mall in Kingston, N.Y. know their business. Rock on guys. I will be back in the short future to have a nice set up of speakers, amps, etc installed by you's again and again. Thanks ah million man.

If I need hardware, tell me that before I drop off

I ordered the deck and installation on line. I set up an appointment to install and dropped off the car. I was then told that they would need to order additional hardware that will take about two weeks to get in. I wasted a good part of my Saturday for this and see no reason that the online purchase or scheduling web site could not have mentioned this.

I couldn't agree more with your comment. Best Buy really needs to build in their software program once a customer figures out what type of receiver they want installed in their vehicle providing the make, model and year, it should come up with the hardware needed for your install. I personally have no knowledge myself when it comes to this type of thing. All I know is Best Buy really needs to step up to the plate on this type of matter/s A.S.A.P. I would also like to purchase speakers and maybe a amp etc. but I feel like Best Buy leaves some of us in total darkness. If they want to make money how about informing the customer instead of leaving me feel stupid and left in the weeds. Sorry you had a bad experience. That should never happen and Best Buy should be ashamed of themselves. Nuff said.

The system is not compatible with my vehicle. It does not retain preset channels on the tuner, doesn't retain time nor does it play when the car turns off ad my factory installed radio did. I am so disappointed with this product. The amount of money I paid for the unit And installation cost I should not be experiencing all these issues.

You never stated what type of vehicle you had this unit installed in. I know for a fact I had the option to cheek to make sure this Alpine CDE-SXM145BT would be compatable for my car. You also stated a mobile tech did the install. A couple of things come to mind right off the bat. First I am sure the mobile tech would know for certain if this Alpine stereo was going to work in your type of vehicle, and the second thing you mentioned was the fact " It does not retain preset channels on the tuner, doesn't retain time nor does it play when the car turns off ad my factory installed radio did " I am almost 100% certain the mobile tech must of told you in order for your new Alpine CDE-SXM145BT to operate the way it should, that their was additional parts that were needed in order for this stereo to work like it should without any of the issues you are describing in your complaint.

Just a quick follow up to anyone here viewing the comments. I have had this Alpine just over a year now and still this Alpine runs as great as the day I had this installed. I can't tell you how many people I have had in and out of my car, but, one thing is for sure, anyone who has been in my car, falls in love with my car stereo. Of all the people that have been in my car, two friends of mine went out and purchased this very same Alpine stereo and wished they had known about this Alpine set up much sooner. Get rid of that stock stereo today and head in to your local Best Buy yesterday and have the Tech professionals install it for you. I stop by here from time to time just to read the continuing comments on this Alpine and just can't help but wonder when I read how a person has issues with this Alpine if they really in fact knew what they were doing when wiring this Alpine up ? The cars of today are way different of the cars in the 70's threw the 90's. Today's cars need special wire harnesses on count of ABS, air bags, directionals, etc. In other words, it's better left up to the pro's for your safety as well as your sanity Lol.
