Launched in 2011, this design established the trend of paper-thin TV antennas. Universally compatible with all HDTVs, the Mohu Leaf 50 offers the benefits and powerful performance of our notorious design coupled with the Jolt Switch USB in-line amplifier to reach a 60-mile range. Control TV signal amplification in real time with a simple ON/OFF switch. When it’s "on", TV signals are increased for clearer picture and sound, sometimes receiving channels beyond your antenna’s standard range. When it’s "off", amplification is bypassed while TV signals are still filtered from FM and cellular interference. When plugged into your TV’s USB port, the amplifier only draws power when the TV is on, saving energy, or use the included USB power adapter with any standard wall outlet. Perfect for suburban areas, compact living spaces, single-TV homes, dorm rooms, RVs…take this efficient antenna just about anywhere you go. Easy to set up and easy on the eyes. Multi-directional UHF and Hi-VHF elements receive TV signals from both sides, so you can show either side of the black or white reversible design or paint the Leaf antenna for a customized look. Note: The range of this antenna will vary greatly depending on the height, power, and frequency of signals coming from the TV tower, as well as the height of the antenna installation, the terrain, and obstacles between your home and the broadcast towers. Find your TV towers and channels by using our free Antenna Point app on your android or iOS device.

getting more channels than just the cable
on December 14, 2014

I would first like to say that I am blown away by how amazing this product is, for years I was just using the cable that came from the wall and plugging that into my HTPC. This would give me about 6 channels, I really only cared about the major networks so this was sufficient for my needs. I live in the middle of Hollywood, CA, and recently my service provider "Time Warner" started encrypting their free channels that I would get simply by plugging in the cable into my HTPC, after contacting them it turned out that I would have to rent a digital adapter from them on top of paying for a tv package through them which was going to cost me $30 extra a month on top of my internet bill, just to get 20 channels. I am a true cord cutter and have been for many years and really don't want to pay for television.
After doing some more research I stumbled across this amazing little product. I purchased it and set it up last night. According to tvfool.com I was expecting to get about 34 channels, but after finding the sweet spot in my apartment I am now getting 56 channels! All of the major networks look just as clear as if I was running the cable from the wall still. My apartment is located in sort of a weird place so finding the sweet spot to stick the Mohu took about 30 min. I live on the first floor of a 2 floor apartment building with my living room facing away from the direction of the towers. I found that if I stick this on my window that faced directly at the building next to mine that I was able to get a great signal for most stations, especially the major networks which I was mainly interested in, I'm guessing the signals must be bouncing off the building next to mine.
All in all this product truly lived up to my expectations and I am now receiving far more channels that I was before and I couldn't be happier. I am already trying to figure out how to run a cable from the roof and maybe get the Mohu Sky and really get every channel possible! If you are in the same boat that I was the Mohu Leaf 50 will not disappoint, just be patient when finding the right spot to stick because moving it just 5-6 inches really does make a big difference in signal quality.
I would recommend this to a friend!
