Good sound, but the screen goes bad quickly

I loved this phone when I bought it. It fit my needs perfectly and allowed me to have an easy-to-use phone in both the living room and kitchen. But after a year, the display screens started losing characters and now at 18 months both phone screens are blank. You can't see incoming calls, the day or time, or anything. There is no fix so either you have to live with it or replace the phones.
Also, the green Call button and the red Hang Up button become sticky with use. It's now hard to press on the buttons to start or end a call, sometimes you have to press a few times.
Overall, a nice phone at a great price (I bought on sale so it was very cheap) but no durability. I would spend more next time for a phone that lasts longer.
What's great about it: Sound quality is good, easy to set up, price was great
What's not so great: Screen loses pixels and becomes unreadable; buttons become stuck with use
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Breville 2-Slice Smart Toaster: You can view the toast during the toasting cycle with the Lift and Look feature that raises the carriage so you can check on its progress. The one-touch technology and pull-out crumb tray make this toaster easy to use and clean.

Great design, poor workmanship

Loved the design of this toaster, and when it worked it was terrific. But as another reviewer noted, I toasted maybe 20 slices of bread and bagels before the heating unit blew. Now it warms the bread but it doesn't brown.
I tried to get help from Breville and they said it was out of warranty. I asked what they suggest I do to get it fixed and they recommended I buy a new toaster. I certainly will--from another manufacturer. Like others, I'm surprised that such an expensive toaster broke so fast.
If you choose to purchase, definitely buy the extended warranty.
What's not so great: Breaks fast
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
