This three-disc set contains all 22 episodes from the Emmy Award-winning first season of the situation comedy Arrested Development. Each is presented in an anamorphic widescreen transfer that preserves the original broadcast aspect ratio of 1.78:1. English soundtracks are rendered in Dolby Digital Surround. English, Spanish, and French subtitles are accessible. Supplemental materials include three commentary tracks recorded by series creator Mitchell Hurwitz. He is joined by many of the cast members on one of those commentary tracks. Deleted scenes, original songs by David Schwartz, and footage from a panel discussion on the show held at the Museum of Television & Radio round out this excellent collection from 20th Century Fox.

Probably my most treasured dvd. I was very reluctant to watch this show, but I accidently saw it on tv one day and fell in love. This dvd set absolutely does the show justice, and hopefully more people will discover it this way.
If you're unsure about buying it, I would say buy it anyway. There isn't a single person I've met yet who gave this show a shot and didn't enjoy it.
What's great about it: unedited pilot, many commentaries
Having been a fan of The Starting Line since their first release pretty much, back in 2000, I have to say I abolutely love this album. This is a band who seemed to always get better with age. Their last album, "Based On A True Story", I thought defined who they were and I really didn't think they would have been able to top it. But "Direction" definitely takes the cake as their best album.
Standout songs for me would probably be Island, Hurry, Something Left To Give, Way With Words, and What You Want. Another thing that helps this album and improves it from their last few, is the addition of keyboardist/vocalist Brian Schmutz. You can definitely notice the differences on this album than the rest based on his backup vocals alone. It's also a nice addition live, now that they can pull off harmonies well.
If you're hearing them for the first time, I would say definitely pick this album up first and work your way backwards, as it definitely won't let you down.
