This is still a little challenging for my 9 year old son, and I think once he practices more and plays more, he'll be fine with this game--it would be perfect for a teenager, and it is fun. There's a great selection of music, and the guitar is easier with this version of the game because the buttons aren't as far apart--so it's easier for him to grasp the guitar, work the buttons and pay attention to the screen. The free microphone with this option is really nice and enables him to play the game in a different way than just using the guitar--plus, I mean it ups the rockstar factor (and Best Buy is the only major retailer with this added bonus).
Amazon Fire Kids Edition Tablet: Your little one will love reading and playing educational games on this tablet, which features built-in Wi-Fi for downloads and streaming and comes with a kid-proof case to protect against daily wear and tear. The touch-screen display with IPS (in-plane switching) technology offers clear, bright images.
With 3 tough boys from the ages of 3, 6, and 9--this tablet has held up in tug of war sessions, light airborne "passes" from a chair to a couch, and provides entertainment with the pre-loaded programming, apps, etc. GREAT first tablet for kids--and plan to purchase one for my nephew too.
