This product is WAY overdue!

I know about Sonus and a few other other "integrated" wireless audio solutions and I gotta tell ya, forget about them.
I have two of these at this point because...I can listen to one stereo on a set of speakers in another stereo on the other side of the house.
The thing is, there is no propriety stuff here. You get the Polk Omni app on your phone or tablet or laptop or even a desktop and everything integrates without any weird stuff or propriety gotchas.
I play my turntable on the home theater. The turntable is in my home office and it pushes the output from the turntable to the other P1 on the home theater and I get to listen to Pink Floyd's "Dark Side of the Moon" on vinyl with all my friend in the comfort of my living room instead of sitting on the floor in the office.
Or, I can pipe the ball game through the sound bar, the S2 speakers or whatever the A1 amp is hooked up to.
It's such a simple idea that seems to be so complex but this is a tremendous solution that is so easy to use, your grandmother can set it up. It's worth every penny. In fact, you're probably stealing it at this price!
I would recommend this to a friend!

This is pretty much the same as the Omni S2 only it has a battery in it so it's not tethered to an outlet.
It has all the same performance as the S2 but, you can chuck it in the corner of the yard or the deck or the patio and with the PlayFi app from Polk, you don't have to go too far away from the beer to change the tune!
This actually comes in handy because of it's battery and the long life. Especially for BBQ's or if I'm running the smoker and have to babysit it for a few hours. This little speaker will keep on rocking the entire time. Doesn't matter if it's a baseball game, talk radio, Pandora, my iTunes library, it will run through it all and the only other piece I need is my cellphone which is with me anyway.
I've even brought it to a neighbor's house to play music from my own library at home while we painted a couple rooms in his house.
This is an awesome little speaker.

Permanent resident in the kitchen...and the garage

...and the bathroom...and the laundry room.
Yeah, grabbed this along with the S2R and the sound bar setup. This speaker is actually a stereo pair in one little box. The sound that comes out of this thing is beyond impressive. It rattles dishes in the cabinets and will shake screws right off the work bench. It goes everywhere in the house. Just plug it in, connect it to your wireless network and play whatever you want through the app on your phone. Pandora follows me around all over the house.
Until somebody doesn't like what I'm playing and they hijack it with their phone!
Comes in handy when I want to listen to a game that is on the TV in the room with the sound bar. I just add this speaker to the list for that source and all of a sudden I'm listening to the Cowboys' game while making dinner!
It's a stellar performer and is a total blast to have around. It's so unassuming too that company never knows where the sound is coming from.

More impressive than it has any right to be

This isn't going to be a knock your socks off super surround bar or anything. This is just a 3 channel set up with a center and a stereo pair with a sub.
BUT! You can add more speakers AND the sub is wireless so you can stick it anywhere! It also has a microphone to do automatic time alignment with the sub signal. For it's price point, that's pretty novel.
The BEST part about this is the ability to integrate it with the rest of your home via the PlayFi tech. It's easy to share over the wireless network in your house. Ours gets used constantly whether it's music during the day, video games at night or football on Sunday afternoons. It was so easy to integrate that now, when it's not on, it's missed.
I would recommend this to a friend!
