The Smart Cover for the 9.7-inch iPad Pro is constructed from a single piece of polyurethane to protect the front of your device. The Smart Cover automatically wakes your iPad when opened and puts it to sleep when closed. It folds into different positions to create a stand for reading, typing, or watching videos. And it’s easy to remove, so you can snap it on and off whenever you want.

I'm unsure as to why there are some negative reviews on here, I purchased the cover simply to protect my screen (I also bought the case with it) and it works as intended. The cover fits nicely, feels great, adjusts into a stand just fine, and the soft fabric that touches the screen is smooth and gentle. However, it does slide a little bit, but not enough to expose the screen.
When using this with the case, both fit perfectly. Remember though, these two products are just to simply cover and protect the iPad's body from scratches and small drops. The only downside I can say is the price, which can be reduced a little.
*Tip: When using the cover as a stand, I suggest you fold it so the outside of the cover is resting on whatever surface your iPad is on, just so you don't pick up tiny particles and cover your screen with them - could risk scratching it.
**Important note**
Some people might be mistaking that an iPad Air 2 cover can work on this iPad, and it cannot. Due to the new smart connector for the smart keyboard, the magnets were moved, making it so only this model works with the iPad.
The Silicone Case for the 9.7-inch iPad Pro protects the back of your device and is designed to pair seamlessly with the Smart Cover for full front-and-back coverage. The smooth silicone material feels great in your hand and protects your iPad Pro while maintaining its sleek, beautiful design.

Fits perfectly, doesn't slip, protects the back and overall feels great in the hand and like a premium product. The only downside to this case is the price, it can be a little cheaper. If your looking for a simple case that won't bulge out too much and protects the back, this is a great solution. As for this case with the smart cover, both work together flawlessly.

The iPad Pro 9.7-inch is everything you'd expect from an iPad but with more power, faster speeds, and new features that truly make it stand out from the rest. It's light, thin, the display is outstanding especially with the new True Tone technology, the camera upgrade is great, the 4 speakers on every corner give you an amazing sound experience, and performance is incredible. It's basically the iPad Pro 12.9-inch squeezed into a 9.7-inch screen with more features and a better experience. For setbacks, the only one I've found and isn't even that big of a deal is the camera on the back. Yes the camera in this model does protrude out, however when laying it on a flat surface, you can hardly tell it's even there.
On the other hand, I also picked up the Apple Pencil to see if the rumors were true, and indeed they are. This is the best 'stylus' I've used on any device, period. Drawing on the iPad feels like I'm almost drawing on paper, and the pencil itself has practically no lag. I will probably spend more time drawing on this than pencil and paper itself.
Overall, it's important to remember that this is an iPad. While I don't see this fully replacing a laptop, it definitely has the power to do so. This new model is definitely outstanding in every way, and well worth buying if you're looking into it.
