Set off on a thrilling 3D adventure that takes you to places the Pokémon franchise has never gone before. Pokémon Y travels to the breathtaking land of Kalos, a star-shaped, enchanting region brimming with stunning forests, buzzing cities and many brand-new Pokémon. Gaze upon the wonder of the iconic tower in the center of Lumiose City, as you battle, catch and add to your Pokédex an array of new Pokémon that join the 640 you've already encountered. The Trainer is only as good as his Pokémon, so get ready to fight for glory with the powerful new creatures at your fingertips in Pokémon Y.Meet Helioptile, a Normal- and Electric-type Pokémon who can generate powerful electricity from sun-bathing to power machinery. While it may display a lack of bravery, its robust Parabolic Charge move makes up for it when Helioptile attacks everything around it. Its HP is restored by half the damage taken by those hit for a significant addition to your Pokédex. Fletchling, a Normal- and Flying-type Pokémon, may take adversaries by surprise, since behind its beautiful chirp and friendly personality lies relentless battle attacks, such as Flame Charge. In addition to doing damage, Fletchling's speed increases every time it unleashes this move. Normally sporting a leaf in its mouth and an intimidating glare, Fighting-type Pokémon Pancham shows its softer side and lets out a smile when you pat its head. During battle, however, Pancham lets loose daunting moves, including Parting Shot, which not only lowers an opponent's Attack and Special Attack, but also allows Pancham to switch out for another Pokémon in a Trainer's party during battle. Discover a new method of transportation with Gogoat, a large Grass-type Pokémon who will gladly let you ride its back around Lumiose City. In battle, its Horn Leech move recovers HP equal to half the damage dealt by its move. With so much to explore and so many new Pokémon to acquire, you're sure to happily spend hours lost within the world of Pokémon Y.

This is a great addition to the already amazing series. The 3D world now lets you move in 360 degrees rather than the 4 directions from previous installments. This is probably the closest we have gotten to a full 3D Pokemon game. The World of Kalos is fairly small and the story line is a bit underwhelming but thats not the reason we play Pokemon. The online functionality is amazing, allowing you to instantly communicate, trade, or battle your nearby friends or through the internet. A great game for any new and old fans of Pokemon.

What's great about it: An additional 68 new pokemon
What's not so great: Not having enough time to catch them all
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great System and Bundle

The Wii U is a great system that mainly lacked games for it to truly penetrate the market. With Zelda WW HD, it does just that. Zelda WW HD is a remake of the Gamecube version with added features. The game is great! Provides a bit of nostalgia. As for the system, it is a great one. It has multiple functions to it including its own community center where you can interact with other players. Graphics are great, but nothing like the upcoming PS4 and XBox one.Overall, its a great price for a great system and game.

What's great about it: Control
What's not so great: Graphics are comparable to XBox 360 and PS3
