definitely best looking phones

After reading /watching many reviews on these phones I just couldn't resist getting these. They sound great, highs and mids are crisp and clear even at high volumes. The bass is solid, but definitely not a bassheads first choice. I listen to all music, rock, alternative, reggae, edm, rap and it all sounds great. To be honest I wish there was just a touch more boom in the base, but it actually improves after a day or two once they warm up.. But overall I give the sound 5 stars. Looks also get 5 stars. They feel well built and sturdy. Now to the reason I had to give 4 stars instead of 5 overall. Comfort level..... These would literally be the best I've ever owned if they would have gone one way or the other, but they're not over the ear, and not on the ear. Its an awkward mix of both. My ear doesn't quite fit in the cup, just the top of my ear slides in the cup but the rest is pressed against the pad, after about 30 min to an hour I have to readjust or take them off for a few minutes. I think I have average size ears and head, so this should be common with other guys. I actually started with the JBL Everest 700, and I gotta say, those were extremely comfortable, totally over the ear, made a nice seal and could wear literally all day. The sound was just as good in my opinion, but the bass was better, you could feel the headphones actually vibrate from a deep bass line, and it was great. But eventually I returned them. I guess the vanity in me couldn't see myself going outside with those on...they were the biggest and most rediculous looking headphones ever. BUT if you don't care looking like you have small satellites on your ears, go with those. Taking into account all those factors, happiest with these, because I can actually walk around in public, and still have great sounding headphones that I'm hoping will make some fly hunnies stop and ask to touch my auditory signal output device.
