WARNING: DO NOT BUY

I have gotten 3, yes thats right 3 of these Vacuums due to them breaking and replacing with a warranty in a 1 year period. Each of the 3 all broke in the same manor, the brush motor died. My 3rd one failed today. I've paid $40 each time for the warranty on it. (Because the warranty doesnt transfer to the new one) when I go in this time I am NOT getting another one of these, I'm not paying a $10 a month fee to continue replacing vacuums with the same defect over and over again.
Also the 1st one I got came with half its parts missing. I didnt know they where actually missing until I got my 2nd one and it had attachments and hooks my 1st one didnt have.
Manufacturer warranties are out of the question, I cant go weeks and or months without a vacuum waiting for it to be replaced or fixed.
On the plus side and this is the reason it even gets 1 star beyond the fact you cant give 0. Its great for vacuuming the staircase, broken brush motor or not.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Can I download programs such as IMVU and Photoshop?
I plan on buying a new laptop by the end of the week. I'd rather not wait until Black Friday to try and get one because of the lines and I have to be at work the following morning. I know that you can't download these programs on a Chromebook so I was just making sure that this one wasn't the same way.
You can download them, but say good bye to any remaining space on your SSD, also photoshop will run EXTREMELY slow. This laptop is designed for document writing purposes be it excel, word, etc.

Does 2GB max RAM feel like a handicap?
Looking for a possible HP Chromebook replacement. I can appreciate the Stream's flash memory based HD speeding up the entire OS experience, but given the choice I would have still liked to install a few GB more RAM after purchase. Does the 2GB RAM feel sufficient for this system compared to similar ultraportables with 4GB (which usually accompany a 500GB SATA, or 32GB eMMc)? I would rather spend $50 more to get a substantially better system, but wouldn't bother with for just a nominally better one. Thanks!
If you are using it for its pure purpose of work mainly microsoft office, chat, facebook, etc and not attempting to use this for gaming or alot of multitasking then you shouldnt feel too much of a restraint due to ram. However if you plan to do multi tasking or anything outside this laptops intended purpose design then it will surely hold you back.

Is this compatible with steam?
Just wondering if it's compatible because I need my own laptop.
Yes, however the number of games you can install on it and play on it are few. Please review each games specific requirements and note that the SSD in this laptop is only 32 gigs. This laptop is designed for work, not gaming.

Can play sims game such as sims3 or sims4?

Sims 3, please review sims 3 minimum system requirements. Also note that this laptop only has a 32gig drive in it, after windows 8 and pre loaded software that comes down to about 25-26gigs to install Sims 3 and its extras you need 26.2gigs before any extra market downloads/purchases.

I saw on a Best Buy ad that it only comes with one hour of SKYPE per month.
I read on a Best Buy ad that it comes with 60 minutes of free SKYPE per month. Since SKYPE is free, what does this mean? Also, I read that there's a year of customer support. Is that ACTUAL HP SUPPORT? I ask this because I bought an HP laptop earlier this year that CLAIMED to give you a LIFETIME of HP SUPPORT, but it wasn't HP at all. It was "OUTSOURCED' to some private company whose customer service agents seemed to be kids they had just hired to answer the phones, very UNKNOWLEDGABLE, so I was unfortunately forced to send it back.
Skype is not "free" when it comes to using it for calling land/cell phone lines. Skype is only free for its video conferencing/chat.
