The tech noir-thriller Fear dot com comes to DVD from Warner Home Video with a surprisingly thorough presentation. First of all, it's given a widescreen anamorphic transfer and Dolby Digital 5.1 soundtracks in both English and French. Subtitles are available in English, Spanish, and French. The extras kick off with a feature-length commentary by director William Malone and cinematographer Christian Sebaldt. "FearDotCom: Visions of Fear" is a brief behind-the-scenes segment including interviews with actors Jeffrey Combs, Natascha McElhone, and Stephen Dorff. One deleted scene features a man getting killed in a mushroom factory. The disc also includes a widescreen theatrical trailer, cast and crew highlights, production stills, and DVD-ROM enhancements. For a movie that can only be recommended to serious horror fans, Warner has done a remarkable job on this disc.
