Big heads beware!

I've had this headset since release and it finally broke today. this headset has a flaw and that flaw is having a folding option, and because of this folding option it has a weak spot at the bending part its only held together by two little plastic pieces, so if you have a big head you'll most likely stretch the little plastic pieces and they will snap over time as mine did. so big heads beware! I don't know why we would need to fold our headsets in the first place, but because of this my headset is held together by duck tape. The other reason not to get this headset is when you go wireless mode the audio is complete garbage, and then when its wired its really good audio but you can't use any of the buttons while wired, cant mute your mic, change volume etc. waste of money in my opinion.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

see how it bends on the right. If it would have been solid it wouldn't have broke.

Cheap hinge
ByHarryS
I loved these until the hinge broke on its own. I don't know if anyone else is complaining about this, but I would give them 6 months tops. After that, you'll have to duct tape them together. Playstation customer support told me that this is not an issue with the headphones... just customer abuse. This is not true. The hinge design is not good and other reviewers who have had the headset for awhile are having the same problem.

my hinge just broke today as well, its not our fault when you grab the headset you naturally grab it by the big ear right? well when doing so your putting all the weight of the head set on them hinges witch weaken its over time i guess the only way to take off your headset would be to grab both ear muff things at the same time but i mean come on its there fault for having it fold there in the first place flawed design in my opinion and it don't help that i had a big head is making it stretch.
