Just purchased brand new RF30HBEDBSR a few days ago and it makes loud pop noise when opening the bottom freezer door. Samsung support says it is normal. I don't think so. Brand new refrigerator this expensive making loud pop noise whenever opening freezer is normal? My 2 other refrigerators I paid way less many years ago still don't make sound like this. This appears to be design defect. I am hearing this from the right side of the freezer drawer. If I close and reopen consecutively, it makes the noise for the first 2-4 pulls and the noise goes away. And then, the noise comes back if I try opening it after some time. Foldable shelf was bent and wasn't horizontal out of box. I had to bend it downward myself to fix it. Left and right door did not align evenly so I had to adjust that myself, too. Nice looking; but, bad quality. I got it because of big labor day discount at bestbuy. But, after this experience I think I still paid way more that what it's worth.
