Dollar for Dollar, the Best Chromebook you can Buy

Performance out of the box was great for this chromebook, and even the android apps ran decently too, though most apps are still buggy and in beta. You'll definitely appreciate the all metal build quality, and the screen here is easily one of the best ever used on any laptop. At 400 nits brightness and 2400 by 1600 resolution, everything is crisp and a joy to look at. I was even suprirsed by the speakers as well, and noticed that they not only fired downwards, but through the keyboard as well and sounded decent, but not macbook quality. Overall, best device money can buy this year.
With 5.0MP rear-facing and 2.0MP front-facing webcams, this Asus ME572C-A1-BK tablet allows you to capture clear images to share with friends and relatives. The 7" capacitive touch screen lets you navigate features using all 10 fingers.
For a $180 tablet that Asus competitively put out on shelves, competitors like Samsung are crazy to sell their budget line up of Tab 4 series to compete with this device. This Asus Memo Pad 7 is elegant, sturdily built, and performs like a premium tablet while having a top notch screen. The new screen coating they have truly does shine as well, and makes the tablets highly visible even in sunlight; not to mention it already having a gorgeous full 1080p display. It is extremely light, and perhaps the lightest tablet out on the market right now, and does not flex or creak.
Simply put it this way, if you were expecting a Nexus 7 for 2014, look no further. I believe this tablet would have been Asus's vision for this years Nexus 7, and for whatever reason they were able to knock out every budget tablet with a $180 price tag and being able to maintain quality and performance that easily holds up to premium tablets out on the market. The new Moorefield Atom processor is no slouch despite benchmark scores. These processors were made to run full Windows operating environments, and in an ARM environment like Android it simply beats out many out there.
Now the cons, simply this. Asus packs the Memo Pad 7 with bloatware that users cannot delete. This is expected, but is more of a nitpicking issue that most will take notice immediately. The other con would be the 64bit chipset this tablet is using. It performs flawlessly, but for graphically intensive games it is not optimized yet. When running graphical benchmarks, the tablet scored and passed with flying colors. When playing graphically intensive games like Dead Trigger and even lower end games like Shadow Fight 2, you'll experience slowdowns. I think it's due to the fact that the support for 64bit is still limited, and future updates especially through Android 5.0 L will resolve these issues in due time.
I claim this tablet as the Perfect Tablet, even if you do have the budget to buy 10 Ipads. This tablet brings a fresh feel to Android that is elegant yet familiar, and it especially plays it safe for those on a budget. With the holiday season just around the corner, you owe it to yourself to buy what will be considered as one of the greatest tablets ever built in my opinion.
