A Great Purifying Agent!!

As a person who is trying to employ ‘clean’ healthy living into every aspect of my life, this product comes right on time in order to strive towards fulfilling this personal mission. I drink tap water as I rarely buy bottled water and when I do, it is only to get the liter bottles to use after consumption for refills of tap water. Suffice to say, I did not realize how much germs are in regular tap water. I understand that it goes through a filtration process, but organisms and germs still exist.
After installing this unit, in which I chose to put under my kitchen sink, which is a very simple process which took about 10 minutes, I have noticed a vast difference in my water quality as it tastes better and cleaner. Suffice to say, I highly recommend this simple system that helps filtrate water immensely!

A Welcomed Addition to My Kitchen!!

Firstly, let me open with how excited I was to finally obtain and review a Keurig! I have not previously owned one, but I have heard such wonderful things about how great coffees and teas taste from the little K-cups! While I love coffee, I especially love and drink tea regularly. Suffice to say, I have purchased some chai tea (my favorite) along with apple cider both of which were so delicious! This unit was easy to start using as it required little assembly, just a matter of plug and play and from there, you’re ready to drink merrily!
The design of this unit is sleek and it fits nicely into my kitchen. I am super excited to have a Keurig in my kitchen as I am sure, it will last and provide me great coffee and tea for many years to come.

A Useful Desktop/Laptop Accessory!!

The Logitech M500s is truly a great mouse—that is if you are into the old school “standard plug and play” then this mouse may be for you. I especially love its size as it is pretty large in both length and circumference; therefore, if you have larger hands, then you should be able to maneuver with relative ease and comfort. I have other Logitech mice with the braided cord in which I really do appreciate the durability that they have. However, this mouse has basic cord, but it does appear to be durable. I have experienced ease of usage when surfing the internet with this mouse as it glides and clicks with relative ease. I have not experienced any lag or missed-clicks when using this mouse. Thus far, I truly don’t see anything to negate its overall performance. However, due to its large size, some may want to use it with a desktop as it could very well be used with a laptop, but bear in mind it does take up port space if you’re limited in available slots.

I am in love with this product! The Nespresso, Breville Vertuo is a great concept that is likened to Keurig cups; however, pods are used. Let me first start off with how cool the design is as its tall, sleek and slender which makes this staple an easy fit in most kitchens. I know, I have chosen it as my go-to, due to the fact, I live alone as I only drink 1-2 cups of coffee a few times throughout the week.
I tried the Expresso single and the taste was rich and frothy as such it digests velvety -smooth. I will note, the brewing process is lighting fast as a cup of coffee is ready for drinking in no time!
I was not familiar with Nespresso as this is my first rodeo with this brand, but from a practical standpoint, I like this product as well as the concept. Suffice to say, I’ll be using it for many years to come!

The Gold Standard of Hard Drives!

This hard drive came right on time as it assisted me greatly in accomplishing my first upgrade! Of course, with the help of YouTube videos that guided me through the process. I have an old Lenovo B570 which is a special computer to me for various reasons. I affectionately call this computer, “Big Bertha” as she is large in size, but she handles tasks quite efficiently, but slow until I upgraded her with this powerful SSD drive. I am elated to report that boot up and shut down times have increased significantly thanks to this powerful SSD. Also, when opening of several windows, I have not experienced any lag.
I will confess that I am truly a novice when it comes to hard drives but I can say that once this hard drive is installed, you’ll experience peak performances. As such, I highly recommend this hard drive if you’re in the market to upgrade a PC!

The Belkin USB-C Network adapter is a must-have if you sometimes experience internet lag as I do. I love to write in the wee hours of the morning; however, sometimes my Wi-Fi connection lags during that time, this has always been a mystery because, during the day and evening hours, my internet is robust. Also, I have used this and gotten faster larger file transfers. This little staple has filled the gap perfectly.

The Microsoft Surface Book 3 is a combination of beauty and beast as the design is just beautiful (brushed aluminum with a sleek curvature that radiates beauty and distinct class) with a beast processor that puts out exceptionally fast and quick. Here are some notable mentions that I discovered stand out:
Processor: I work in higher education on the community college platform. We have quarterly news that highlights campus events, student achievements, community events, and staff mentions. We use Adobe Premiere Pro. I can tell you the turn-around time has been phenomenal as the processor in this beast just seems to edit and capture content cleanly.
Videoconferencing: The Coronavirus pandemic has taken education to an online status as it relates to teaching, meetings, and conferences. Our team frequently meets via Zoom to discuss plans for this upcoming fall term. The video resolution of 1080p (1920X1080) is just stunning and awesome! Most videos have a resolution 0f 720p (1280X720) which makes viewing look so grainy, distorted and plain 80’s looking! We held 2 meetings this week and thanks to Surface Pro 3, the images were just clear and distinct.
Battery Life: Battery Life on this laptop is amazingly robust as I have easily gotten 3 days’ worth of usage including editing of videos without having to charge. I guess the 127-watt brick packs a powerful charging punch. I will note, outside of editing of videos, I have done some moving watching along with typing of documents.
Keyboard/trackpad: The keys on this laptop are very tactile and comfortable to type on. By far, this is the best keyboarding experience I have had in quite sometimes. I love the feel, spacing and overall comfort when typing. The only additional plus would have been adding a numeric keypad as it makes tasks such as inputting of grades a lot easier. The trackpad is very tactile as well, I do not use it regularly because I am from the mouse era, as such I am using a Bluetooth mouse.
Overall, I think Microsoft has done a wonderful job with this laptop as it can meet the demands of video edits, animations, photo edits, and overall demanding media contents. There is flexibility to choose based on your overall needs as this laptop has ram up to 32gb and storage capacity up to 2000 TBs of SSD.

The Logitech Combo Touch is a great case if you’re an Ipad Air owner. The case itself sports a classy look with dark gray fabric that screams professionalism. Additionally, the case is robust, but heavy. The case is multi-faceted in so much that it can be used in multiple ways that includes detaching as well. The keypad can easily turn into a laptop-like experience. I personally like using it during video-conferenced meetings as it offers flexibility with great support due to its sturdiness. For some, it may be a bit heavy, but I have discovered it to work well for my computing needs. Additionally, there are some notable features such as backlit keys, a precision track pad, the keys are well spaced and very tactile which equate to a nice typing experience.
I really cannot speak enough to how Logitech keeps elevating their products in order to enhance users’ computing needs. My hat goes off to them as being the dominant force when it comes to accessories of all sorts

A Highly Proficient Printer!!

The HP Desk Jet Plus 4155 is a reliable printer for those that desire to print from their phone via mobile app and/or additional choices of Bluetooth, Mopria, USB or WiFi. I personally chose both WiFi and mobile app. Both setup processes were straight forward as I went to the Android app store and obtained the app and my WiFi noticed and connected well without any problems.
This printer produces some very nice prints as texts are truly rich in color as well as black and white. The only thing and I was a little disappointed is that it does not have the capability to do double-sided printing.
Reproduction of copies is good as this printer does a great job with true color definition and crispness.
I did scan some things on this printer and I was really impressed that a printer of this size can scan with such depth and accurateness. I am glad that this is a flatbed scanner because I am scanning some pages from a book. I am in the process of trying to kill the paper monster once and for all in my life. As a result, this scanner came right on time and has done a great job in helping me to accomplish this task.
Personally, I think this scanner can be used for multiple usages such as in dorm rooms, personal desk settings and/or family shared.
As always, HP which I translate to “highly proficient” has manufactured another product that makes printing simple but economical and efficient!

A Must Have Straightener!!!

Dyson as they are known for high-quality products and this straightener is no exception as it performs awesomely in straightening hair. Upon initial usage, I noticed they felt heavy as a result, I did not know what to expect; however, once they got warm to my desired setting, they did an awesome job of straightening my hair with a light-feel. During the actual straightening process, I was concerned with the actual heaviness, but with one swipe, the straightener did an OUTSTANDING job on my hair. The manganese copper plates seemingly do not do any damage to my hair as this was of concern to me because I have never used these types of plates as I have used titanium plates in the past. Suffice to say, I will be using this straightener on a regular basis as it gets the job done with perfection within minimal time.

I needed a basic keyboard since the one on my lap top stopped working. It worked fine for a few weeks. Having a problem now, It types Caps without putting on the Cap key, It skips spaces. Then the next day It will be fine for awhile and do the same thing again. Only paid $12.99 for it and that is just about what it is worth. I have had it over a month and as I said it was great for about 2 weeks.

It's my fault for not reading the fine print but I now realize that this desktop does not have a CD/DVD Rom Drive. This is important to me since I do play games on my computer. It's smaller than the picture looks...about the size of a gallon of milk and I just got it , so I don't have any comments yet on the performance. The keyboard is compact too, wish it was wireless. Otherwise, a great buy.

I have the same desktop; however, it is with the i3 processor. Yes, it does come with a keyboard and mouse which are both paired. As a result, all one needs to do is plug and play. The desktop comes with several ports if a person desires to use an external CD/DVD player, the unit can accommodate the need by using one of the USB ports. I have an extra keyboard (which is bigger) and mouse that I use along with the included keyboard and mouse. So, if the included keyboard and mouse are not to your satisfaction, there are several USB ports that can be used to accommodate something else.

I suggest downloading the app, Tone and Talk. I initially felt the way you're feeling until I tried the app which has bass levels and enhances sound. I have an Android phone; as a result I obtained the app out of the Google Play store. I hope this info helps!

I want to be able to use Microsoft Office 2019 for Home and Student on two computers ( desktop and laptop) but do not want to use Office 365. Can I purchase a downloadable version that is usable on multiple computers?

Trying to find a system that works in a house over 4000 sq feet. WiFi extenders didn’t work. Have a Spectrum WiFi router. What router is compatible w/Spectrum that I can use with mesh system. Do nodes just plug in? Will be used for iPads and phones only.

I think Velop could possibly be your answer in getting the adequate coverage you need in your home. I previously had Spectrum and Velop integrated fine with their modem. Basically, you plug the main node into your provided modem from Spectrum and the accompanying 2 nodes you place them throughout your home where you may experience lag, dead spots, buffering, etc... The cool thing as you place the nodes throughout your home, the downloaded app (required) is going to let you know if you've placed it in a place where the signals can communicate well. Yes, you can use iPads, phones, computers, printers, scanners, smart locks, gaming devices, etc whatever needed and Velop can handle it and provide you with robust coverage.
Lastly, Linksys has this product in various packages from single to triple nodes; so, you get to choose what is needed based on the square footage of your home. I hope this info helps some!
