Good Monitor!!

I am reviewing this monitor as a 2-part project that includes the HP Wave desktop. Firstly, the HP-23 inch monitor has fair resolution. The set up for this monitor was relatively easy only requiring 2 hook ups to the wave desktop. Viewing of pictures, YouTube videos, movies and the like, this monitor offers clear resolution. However, the readability of words aren’t as clear as I thought it would be—being that the monitor has 1920X1080 resolution with full HD. Overall, the monitor does complement the wave desktop unit quite well.
Yes, I do recommend this monitor if you are in need of a monitor that is reliable and meet your basic needs. However, if you desire a monitor with higher resolution and stronger picture clarity then this may not be the monitor for you!

Enjoy powerful performance with this compact HP Pavilion Wave computer. The Intel i3 processor provides fast data handling, while the 1TB hard drive lets you store plenty of files. New Innovation in Desktop!!!

I found the HP Pavilion Wave Desktop to be a reliable desktop that can serve in many capacities. The setup of the unit was user friendly and only took a few minutes. The usual customary information such as location, time zone, and stored user information if you have access to the Windows environment. The following are the pros and cons of the unit:
PROS:
*The unit operates on an I3 processor which in my opinion does really well. While I know it’s not the fastest on the market; however, this processor serves the purpose quite well. Startup times are really quick. Also, it has 1 TB (terabyte) of hard drive space which is ample enough to pull over all needed files, music, pictures, and whatever documents one needs to pull over. I personally pulled over documents and pictures from an external hard drive from both my old Toshiba and Lenovo laptops with ease and I must say I still have ample space available. Also, the 8 gigabytes of memory is more than enough to sustain most people’s needs.
*Cloud support-HP is offering 25GB of cloud services for 1 year compliments of Dropbox, an application that I truly love and have on every PC, tablet and phones in my home. I was able to access Dropbox with ease.
*Sound-The wave has wonderful sound thanks to the internal speakers manufactured by Bang & Olufsen who has a long history of producing acoustic perfection. I watched a few YouTube videos while thoroughly enjoying the sound from the speakers. I thought since the sound is within the hard drive system it wouldn’t be quality; however, to my surprise and delight it is! Also, I listened to some songs and again the sound was impeccable!
*Internet Connectivity-I connected to the internet without any problems. Currently, I have 2 routers that provide internet connectivity Orbi and Linksys and both integrate and connect well with this unit.
*Ports-The wave has 3 USB 3.0 ports along with 1 USB C port, which is a port that is fast gaining ground into markets here in the US. I have several things I use via USB port connection; as a result, I love knowing I have extra ports available when I need usage of them.
*Keyboard/Mouse Combo: Included with the Wave’s hard drive is a paired keyboard/mouse combo. As with any new mouse, I had to get adjusted to the tactile feel of the keyboard and the keys which are pretty compact as a result, typing takes some adjusting to. The mouse can be a bit glitchy at times but it’s not frequent enough thus far to conclude it’s problematic.
*Aesthetics- I found the triangular prism shape of the wave to be aesthetically pleasing! I commend HP for the innovation in manufacturing a product that houses so many key components to main elements needed to run a computer. Also, I am pleased that the unit doesn’t consume a lot of space. The wave can set within any area of the home and it wouldn’t stick out as an eye sore.
CONS:
*The only disappointment that I have is the fact that the Micro Soft Office programs are offered on a trial basis for 30 days. This program is truly a staple and most need at least Word if not all the programs for various usages. Computer manufactures used to offer these programs for a 1-year subscription; however, this seems to be rare. One can conclude that this very well maybe a thing of the past. I feel what individuals and families pay for computers this software package should still be included as an appreciation for their hard earned dollars.
I highly recommend this unit to anyone who maybe a student, homemaker, business entrepreneur, down to any walk of life. I commend HP for manufacturing a product that reduces space in the home areas yet affords ample internal space along with other tangibles at budget-friendly pricing. I think this desktop will serve anyone’s primary needs for several years to come!

Basic Laptop/Tablet!

I found the Acer Switch One 10.1 Tablet/laptop to be a product that is basic but functional. As an owner of several of Acer’s products, I found this device to be middle of the road for various reasons as I will state in this review. The following are the tablet’s pros and cons:
Pros:
*Setup process of this product was easy and rapid. After inputting the standard information such as location, time and identification the system recognized and pull over pertinent information on functional apps such as Micro Soft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, One Note, all of which were the on-line versions (Mobile Office). Needless to say, this made me a happy camper due to the fact I didn’t have to download the 30 day trial version of Office 365 which takes up so much hard drive space.
*Connected easily to my Brother DCPL-2540 DW after installation of app. I printed a few documents for test purposes and they printed well.
*The battery life seems to be amazingly good! I received the device on a full charge which stated that it would last 13 hours.
*Internet connection is steady and connects well.
*The device has 32 gigabytes of internal memory and 2 gigabytes of ram. I think this is a sufficient amount for basic usages; but if Microsoft Office 365 is added the device would be impacted with a significant amount of space taken. I highly recommend using the online version (Mobile Office) in order to avoid huge amounts of space being taken up.
*The versatility of the device with offerings of tablet, laptop, presentation and tent display. The secure magnets that attach and detach the device are durable.
*Expandable Micro SD card, which can expand up to 64GB.
*Head phone jack. As a person who loves music and escaping to my own world this is indeed an added benefit. I listened to some music that I have stored on Dropbox and the sound was ok due to the poor audio of the speakers.
*Surprisingly Acer didn’t include a lot of bloat ware.
*The convenience of size. I can carry the device with me by easily slipping it into my purse or carry bag.
Cons:
*The device does not charge while in operation. I found this to be totally mind-blowing and odd. I tried to test the charger for effectiveness; however, I was unable to obtain a charge while the device was powered up.
*The top portion (tablet) is significantly heavier than the bottom portion which is bulky; suffice to say when the tablet is used independently I found it to be heavy in my hand.
*Cord to charger is too short in length.
* Not enough space between the keys on keyboard. When typing I could never get in a good rhythm due to not having enough space to feel comfortable. I found myself hitting keys incorrectly because of the close spacing.
*The location of the headphone jack, charging port, HDMI port, and other port are all positioned awkwardly on the left side of the device. Being that my dominate hand is right this is inconvenient and indeed an adjustment because of location.
*The picture resolution is 1280X800 which is not bad but not good. I think mediocre describes the overall quality in my opinion.
*Not enough USB ports. The device only has one USB port located on the right side. I am a heavy user of a mouse and this port is utilized for that. However, I have a portable keypad for number crunching when doing Excel spreadsheets which is cumbersome to have to change out devices because of the availability of only 1 USB port.
*Acer didn’t include a quick set up guide. However, an 800 toll free number was included if questions or help is needed.
*Sound is terrible! The quality of the sound is very low and tinkers.
* Not a good selection of apps in the app store.
While the tablet is basic in every sense of the word, it still is practical and can handle day to day simple tasks such as web browsing, watching of YouTube videos and movies, checking Email and basic documents with the usage of the on-line Microsoft applications with ease. The box stated that the operating system is Windows 10 Home, in which I don’t have a lot of familiarity with. However, from my usage the system is user friendly and easy to navigate. I recommend this laptop/tablet to anyone who is on a budget but is in need of a device for usage of simple tasks or someone who wants a device for secondary or tertiary usage. I do commend Acer on manufacturing products that meet a variety of users’ needs.

Bose-The Ultimate Sound Quality

I found the Bose Quiet Control 30 headphones to have superior sound quality! Not only is the build quality excellent but the headphone fits comfortably with the open design that it has. The ear tips (Stay-Hear+eartips) offer a great fit that feels securely in place.
The biggest plus for me is the noise canceling feature that these headphones offer. I immediately paired them with my iPad Air for the purposes of listening to music and videos the connection was great. I love the fact that you can manually adjust the unit to what you desire.
Battery life seemingly is pretty decent. I was able to get approximately 6 hours before taking them off.
The only con and it is truly personal. I am a wearer of jewelry and I don’t like the look of Bluetooth headsets or anything other than jewelry around my neck. Again, this is a personal preference. However, I will note, I was surprised at how comfortable the feel of the headphones was when I tested them out.
Overall, these are great and I recommend anyone to try them out who maybe in the market to purchase a quality set of headphones. I think they will fit usage for all surroundings such as running, gym workouts, walking, office environments, and environments where noise maybe prevalent, but one wishes to focus in on his or her world.

Good Product!!

Initially, I did not encounter any problems when setting up this product. The router and satellite are both identical in size; however, Net Gear placed bands with the needed information around them in order to prevent confusion. Setup is really cut and dry all one has to do is connect the router into your existing router, input passwords and plug-in the adapter. It is recommended the satellite is placed within the center of the home.
*Connection speeds-I instantaneously noticed that my connection speeds increased. I purposely opened up several web pages in order to see how quick I could get a connection and surprisingly I did notice a significant increase when opening of several web pages.
*I always have several devices in operation at any given time. For the most part, Orbi was successful at connecting and integrating with my devices except, I could not print on my Lenovo 2/1 laptop after connecting it to Orbi. I don’t know if the 8.1 operating system that the 2/1 runs off does not integrate with Orbi; however, I was unable to print. After reverting back to AT&T’s network who is my internet provider, I was able to resume printing and I did not have to restart my PC in order to do so.
*Duration-I experienced long periods of uninterrupted Internet access (6 or more hours) after connecting to Orbi which has been a very good experience thus far.
*Chromebooks- I have 2 Acer chromebooks, one that is fairly new (R11 2/1) and one that is a couple years old (C7). The newer chrombeook, (R11 2/1) seemingly integrates fine and makes fast connections with Orbi; however, I did noticed the older model; (C7) did not make fast connections when surfing and opening of pages. This could very well be to the age of the device. Also, I noticed when I disconnected from the C7, I received a solid magenta color which indicated the Orbi satellite could not connect to the router, which was a good sign that the system communicates and works well.
In summary, I would recommend this product to anyone who desires new technology that offers a tri-band Wi-Fi system. Moreover, if someone has multiple devices and desire faster Internet connections, then Orbi is the product that can accommodate their needs!

AWESOME GPS SYSTEM!!!

The Rand McNally Overdryve is an excellent GPS that works exceptionally well in every area that it has usage.
*The initial setup was a breeze! The GPS operates off Android 5.1 Lollipop which is a big plus for me being that I have several products that operates with Android. Firstly, I connected to my Wi-Fi instantaneously without any connection problems. Thereafter, I paired my Bluetooth connection without any problems causing all 200 plus contacts to sync without problems. I believe this was due in part because my cell phone operates on the Android system.
*Messaging-the messaging system works fine. I love the fact that I am able to text and talk hands free while driving!
*Entertainment-I love the fact also I was able to connect to my Pandora Radio Account without any problems. This was by far the biggest plus for me due to the fact the music that I am used to hearing in my home; I am now able to hear within my car. AWESOME SAUCE!!!
*Navigation-Overdryve comes with a map that is very accurate with directions. A big plus is that Rand McNally offers a life time of updates!
*The biggest con that I see is that the tablet doesn’t have a direct connection to Wi-FI while in the car. I found this to be a grave disappointment. While the tablet connected fine within my home to my Wi-Fi, but when am in the car, I rely on connections via Bluetooth and hot spots which are paired with my phone.
Overall, I think Rand McNally did a great job with this product because of all the wonderful features that come with the tablet. I truly think the tablet/GPS system is worth the money if a person is able to invest in it. My car is an older foreign make that does not have a GPS; therefore, this unit is a welcomed edition because of the various functionalities that it has.

Good Chromebook!!

After unboxing the chromebook I found it to be very compatible to one of its predecessors the C7 in which I own. Initial setup was very easy; due to the fact, I have a Gmail account; however, I experienced a little difficulty in connecting to the Internet. After getting a connection, what I perceived to be was still a shaky internet connection, it was not, it was in actuality the chromebook pulling over my information and apps from the C7. Needless to say, I was surprised as well as elated that I did not have to repeat setup in order to pull my existing apps over to this unit.
The following are the pros and cons of the Acer R 11-2-in-1 11.6:
Pros:
-4 gb of memory which makes it sufficient to handle everyday general tasks such as web surfing, checking of emails, watching of youtube videos and movies, opening of multiple windows, along with other media content.

-Decent resolution 1366 X768 HD in which I see a remarkable difference in comparison to my older C7 model, which has the same resolution; however, when viewing pictures and movies the view is not impressive.

-Nice feel of keyboard which aids in the use of typing efficiently.
-The 2-in-1 versatility which offers the flexibility of presentation/display style, laptop style, tablet style and tent style.
-A built in webcam.
-Decent speakers. I’ve watched a view youtube videos in which the speakers were audible.
-Long battery life-unlike the C7 which only gives approximately 2.5 hours of battery life. Acer has done a great job with this chromebook which has amazing battery life!
CONS:
-The trackpad is very glitchy and is not very responsive. I chose to use a USB mouse in order to get better functionality.
-The overall structure of this chromebook is plastic, which gives it a cheap feel.
-When putting the chromebook in tablet mode, it feels pretty heavy in the hands.
I would recommend this laptop to anyone who wants to do basic things such as web browsing, opening of multiple windows for multi-tasking purposes, checking of E-mails, watching of youtube videos, movies etc,. Also, it can be used to do writing of papers with Google docs; spreadsheets with Google sheets; presentations with Google slides and cloud content abilities with the aid of Google Drive. The price of this chromebook is very economical, which makes this a good purchase if you’re on a budget. Overall, Acer has done a good job in their chromebook collection by upgrading and offering such a variety within this platform.

Functional Product!

I found the Acer Iconia One 10.1 inch tablet to be very functional from various aspects. As an owner of the Acer C7 Chromebook which is serving me well; however, it doesn’t have very good battery life and picture quality. Before I began to review this product, these known qualities did come to mind. However, I was pleasantly surprised how Acer has significantly improved their products within the last couple of years. The following are the tablet’s pros and cons:

CONNECTIVITY ISSUES

I had trouble with this Wi-Fi range extender connecting successfully with my Wi-Fi router. First, I plugged the unit into a wall with an electrical outlet within 6 feet of my router and followed the setup guidelines. My computer which runs Windows 7 operating system recognized the extender (Linksys Extender Setup-FF1) and afterwards connected to a network. However, on the initial onset when I tried surfing the Internet I was unable to obtain a connection despite the system stating I had a connection. My IP address came up within the browser to input setup information. After inputting the set up information such as:
o Passwords
o Selecting to use the extender as a wireless range instead of a secured one.
o System recognition of my network SSID.
o Searching for and unable to connect to a network with a message displaying to repeat steps over.

However after inputting my network password, I was unable to obtain a connection in order to surf the web again. Moreover, I repeated the steps and moved my router within even closer proximity after several attempts, I obtained the same results.
The manufacturer states on the box that the Max-Stream AC 1900+ Wi-Fi Range Extender works with “ALL” Wi-Fi Routers; however, after making several attempts and trying out multiple electrical outlets within my home, I was unable to obtain a successful Internet connection with this product.

I needed a basic keyboard since the one on my lap top stopped working. It worked fine for a few weeks. Having a problem now, It types Caps without putting on the Cap key, It skips spaces. Then the next day It will be fine for awhile and do the same thing again. Only paid $12.99 for it and that is just about what it is worth. I have had it over a month and as I said it was great for about 2 weeks.

It's my fault for not reading the fine print but I now realize that this desktop does not have a CD/DVD Rom Drive. This is important to me since I do play games on my computer. It's smaller than the picture looks...about the size of a gallon of milk and I just got it , so I don't have any comments yet on the performance. The keyboard is compact too, wish it was wireless. Otherwise, a great buy.

I have the same desktop; however, it is with the i3 processor. Yes, it does come with a keyboard and mouse which are both paired. As a result, all one needs to do is plug and play. The desktop comes with several ports if a person desires to use an external CD/DVD player, the unit can accommodate the need by using one of the USB ports. I have an extra keyboard (which is bigger) and mouse that I use along with the included keyboard and mouse. So, if the included keyboard and mouse are not to your satisfaction, there are several USB ports that can be used to accommodate something else.

You're going to be really happy with this printer. I purchased it 2 years ago and it hasn't given me a moment's trouble. Also, there are great 3rd party vendors that sell quality toner at great prices for this machine.

I suggest downloading the app, Tone and Talk. I initially felt the way you're feeling until I tried the app which has bass levels and enhances sound. I have an Android phone; as a result I obtained the app out of the Google Play store. I hope this info helps!

Yes, this is an all in one printer that offers print, fax, copy and scan capabilities. From the best of my understanding, faxing has to be done through a traditional land line as there is an included phone line within the box.

Is this a duplex printer? I like printing on both sides of paper? And is it quiet? I have a pixma 860 still works great but not compatible with windows 10. Do you have a set up disk for my pixma 860

Trying to find a system that works in a house over 4000 sq feet. WiFi extenders didn’t work. Have a Spectrum WiFi router. What router is compatible w/Spectrum that I can use with mesh system. Do nodes just plug in? Will be used for iPads and phones only.
