I needed a case for my switch for vacation and am glad i purchased this. The messenger bag comes with a smaller case for the switch when it is in portable mode. In addition, the bag itself has different compartments so that you can store the other parts of the switch (i.e the docking station, hdmi cables, charging cables and so on) with additional room for any other accessories you may need. The bag is adequately padded and great for moving your console around

The screen protector is good compared to what is currently out right now (3.17.17). It was fairly easy to put on and works well when I take my Switch on the go.So far i have not experienced any issues as noted in other reviews on here

I have other figures of Link and this is by far my favorite one. The details on the figure is well done and the packaging it comes in is clear plastic with a scene printed behind Link so you can display it without taking it out of the box.

Does it have a place to hold the game cartridges?
It did not have a place for the game cartridges by themselves but it did have a place for the game box. I place my switch games in their original packaging and place that in the bag. It all fits nicely. I hope I was able to help you with your quesiton

Is the carrying case that comes with this a hard case? And does the Switch fit into it nicely?
The case is semi hard- i would guess there is a thing piece of hard plastic within the lining, I feel as if i can drop the case and everything will be ok inside but it will not withstand being stepped on by an adult. I hope this helps with your question
