Great hardware, lousy Help and instructions

I bought this to do what I thought would be a simple backup of my hard drive's Outlook emails. Installation was easy - you just plug it in. Then the frustration began. I did a backup, then tried to find my emails on the Seagate. Not there. Or maybe they are, but I can't find them. The Seagate Help service? It connects you to the Microsoft website, which is notoriously unhelpful and in any event not designed for Seagate products. I know I'm looking for a ".pst" file but I can't find it on the Seagate. Ugh. If only the genius engineers who design this stuff could get out of their bubbles and figure out how to communicate to us mere mortals.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
