The first time I watched this movie years ago I did not like it. After watching the new Wolverine in 3D I purchased this movie. It is actually an outstanding movie. Liev Shreiber is a great actor along with Hugh Jackman. He is in my opinion the best actor of all superheroes along with Christian Bale. This movie looked incredible on my 55 OLED TV.

I never liked Hugh Jackman as logan, so I went into this movie with some hesitation. But I was blown away by his performance, the script, the movie in general, and of course the 3D which made the movie.
Without any hesitation I recommend this $20 purchase of Wolverine 3D, and I will say it is the best movie I have seen in a long time. Good job Fox on presenting affordable 3D movies that are awesome.

Why I chose this Soundbar over the others.

I went and purchased this soundbar blindly. I have never heard this soundbar, and actually when I went to test the open unit it was broken, which is not a great sign. However, I had just purchased an 55 curved OLED TV and I wanted the home theatre sound to match. Keep in mind this unit is in my bedroom at 10ft x 10ft.
I plugged this unit into my blu-ray & TV through HDMI, I was then immediately controlling the soundbar with my TV remote. I started a blu-ray "BattleShip". During the first few previews I was extremely disappointed. Then the movie started, and I had realized it was the previews that had poor sound. This soundbar BLEW ME AWAY.
There is no way I would ever need a subwoofer in my bedroom with this soundbar. The surround sound is more 3.1 than 5.1. If you are looking for a true 5.1 sound bar I would go with the high end Yamaha. But if you are looking for the best sounding Soundbar with no subwoofer, and also the best looking soundbar, go with the Panorama. You will not be disappointed.
Also, if you are trying to use this soundbar with ARC it seems to have issues. I do not care about this so it is not a problem. There is also no bluetooth streaming.
If your list for the perfect soundbar is like mine then the B&W Panorama 2 is the choice. This is my list for the perfect soundbar: I wanted 1) Incredible Sound for my bedroom 2) No subwoofer 3) Sleek / Classy look.
All of these fit the bill and my bedroom, with a 3D OLED TV is better than any movie theatre. I also purchased the 4 year Geek Squad plan for my TV and Soundbar. Since this is a powered speaker, I wanted some reassurance at less than 15% the cost of the unit. I am extremely impressed with how Best Buy has treated me during this purchase and all my subsequent purchases. They are amazing. Thanks BB.

This TV is incredible. I recently got divorced. Instead of getting a new wife, I purchased a new TV. This TV. With all it's glory and beauty. I sing to this TV at night. I talk to it, and she listens.
All joking aside, this TV is the pinnacle of televisions. The blacks are as dark as you could imagine. The colors are more vibrant than even the LG OLED. The motion is better than the LG OLED. The curve helps with 3D content, and somewhat with blu-ray material as I sit only a few feet away from my TV.
The 3D is better on this model than the LG due to active 3D, which shows 1080p 3D. The only negative about this TV is of course the price, and the fact that Samsung no longer makes this TV anymore. They are trying to hide OLED technology because LG has an advantage that they seem to not be able to keep up. The LG OLED is the finest mass market TV ever produced, but make no mistake about it, the Samsung 55 OLED is the finest prototype TV EVER made. It is in a league of it's own and belongs in a museum.

The TV technology of the future

Please trust me when I say this TV is hands down the best picture you can purchase at this time. CNET just stated this is the best TV EVER reviewed.
When you walk into Best Buy, notice how the LED/LCD TV's have a stagnant picture on display or a picture that moves very slowly. Why is this? After all, movies and television shows are fast. This is because LCD/LED is an inferior product. All you have to do is take an OLED TV into a dark room (where movies are watched) and compare it to the LED/LCD TV. What you will find will shock you at first. You will notice that the LED TV even with a black background will still light up the room. The OLED however will make the room go completely black, you will experience a shock, thinking that the TV just broke or died as the picture goes to complete blackness. OLED is able to achieve this because it has independent organic molecules for pixels, instead of LED TV's that just use a backlight. Also understand that LED TV's are just LCD TV's with LED backlights. OLED TV's are a completely new and different technology.
I will never go back to an LED TV EVER again. This OLED TV is worth it's weight in gold.
Investing in an LED TV right now is like buying a Walkman and cassette tapes vs an iPod. If you are reading this review and are contemplating whether to get this tv or save $1,000 and get an LCD/LED tv, go with your gut. Spend more now and don't regret your purchase. When you get the tv home and you know you spent a little more to have the best tv in the WORLD, you will sleep better. Consider this a long term investment and invest in the future, not the past.
I am so excited to finally own something that lets me see what's happening in dark scenes.
In movies like Riddick or any movie where there are predominantly black scenes, LED TV's would lose my interest. Now that I am able to see what's going on in dark scenes, it's like I am watching movies for the very first time.
I applaud LG for pushing technology forward. They should be commended for being the only electronics manufacturer that is wiling to provide the best possible picture for it's customer base. LG I salute you and this work of art that excites me once more to watch movies.
I rarely make expensive purchases (or write lengthy reviews), but I figure I owe it to myself. I purchased this TV, a high end soundbar, and geek squad plans for both. Normally I am against warranty plans but I figure if the TV breaks Best Buy would upgrade me to the current years model. I figure the warranty comes out to $10 a month for the next 5 years. My shopping experience was amazing with best buy. Thanks you guys!
