Experienced Cook Very Disappointed

This great-looking range is a major frustration almost every time I have to cook. I've been cooking over 30 years, and I tried to give this range a fair trial. It has been 5 months , but I have to say that I truly regret this purchase. The touch pad is overly sensitive and just brushing up against it will turn off the oven, turn on the warming oven, or activate any other function on the pad. Every time the oven door is opened to check a dish for doneness or basting a roast, the light automatically turns off when the door is closed. Why? Broiling with the door closed (which is required) is difficult because even with a large window, broiled dishes are too high to see. (Never heard of broiling with an oven door closed.) I have burned many burgers and steaks because of this. I have yet to figure out the best positions for the racks. They don't go where I need them. I planned to use the double oven for my Thanksgiving turkey and sides, but I really don't think the 15 lb. turkey will fit in the larger bottom portion. Fast boil is no faster than any other burner on any stove I've used. The timer alarm is a joke. It is so quiet I don't think my dog can hear it. Wish I could use an appliance for a month before buying. I would not have kept this range if I had been able to try it out.

Update

To be fair, I was able to fit my 15 lb turkey in the lower oven for Thanksgiving. I baked two side dishes in the upper oven at the same time - very convenient. Nevertheless, the frustrations outweigh the advantage of a double oven, which I do not use that often.
