Quality product from Micrisoft. Originally bought one for my office desktop, but it works so well I had to get one for my PC at home too.

This raunchy release from the FX animated comedy series Archer includes all ten episodes from the show's first season, following the most cunning secret agent on Earth as he saves the world many times over and engages in rampant sexual intrigue - all while working under the direct supervision of his mother.

One of the funniest shows on TV for a few years now. Season 1 Blu-ray has the unaired pilot and some deleted scenes too.

This laid back release from the period sitcom That 70's Show includes all 26 episodes of the show's second season, following the everyday misadventures of a group of suburban high school students during the 1970's.

Another great season of this show.

This season takes the show to a whole other level. As good as season 1 is, season 2 is even better. There are more cutaways and how the writers continue developing the characters is just hilarious. Highly recommended.

That '70s Show

There are parts in this show when you laugh at something and then immediately laugh even harder when another character responds. The critics may say a few other comedies were better, but they didn't get as many big laughs as this one did in every episode. All of the characters are so great in this that draw you in from the start and that's why no matter what else they do they'll always be known for "That '70s Show" right at the top of their credits.
What's great about it: Great cast, great writing, absolutely hilarious

Multi-Emmy winner Kelsey Grammer stars as a mayor with a brain disorder that's slowly robbing him of his faculties in Boss, a drama series that has every episode from its first season collected in this release.

Dark, ruthless, and great!

Kelsey Grammer is awesome as Chicago's mayor and proves he can play a bad guy just as well as he can a good guy. I found the first episode plaing on Starz after the first season finished so I had to get the blu ray to catch up before season 2 staretd. I'm not sure what's more disturbing...the lengths his character goes to in order to hold on to the power he has or that those extreme lenghts are probably based on numerous things that all happened in real life. Season 2 doesn't disappoint either.
What's great about it: Everything.
What's not so great: I wish there were more episodes each season.

This release from the darkly comic series It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia includes all 13 episodes of the show's fifth season, following the misadventures of Frank, Mac, Dennis, Charlie, and Dee. The season opens on the misanthropic management of Paddy's Pub as they try their hand real estate and criminal law, and as Dee signs up to be a surrogate mother for a wealthy couple.

Not as good as the early seasons.

This show definitely falls off severly after Season 3. There are great episodes here and there in the later seasons that are comparable to ones in Seasons 1-3, but Seasons 4+ as a whole are disappointing.
What's great about it: $7.99 sale price
What's not so great: Seasons 1-3 are much funnier

Top rate cast and a story that pulls you in from the beginning. It's an unsettling plot to say the least, but the performances all around make it impossible not to see it to the end. The quality of the transfer to blu-ray is also great.
What's great about it: Great cast and storyline.

This set contains every episode from the first season of the critically-respected series Homeland, starring Claire Danes as a self-destructive CIA agent who begins to suspect that a veteran, who was held as a POW, may in fact be a terrorist instead of the war hero the media has made him out to be.

Absurd plotline by the last episode

I wasted my time and money and got season 1 and have regretted it ever since watching the last episode of the season. These are the same creators of the show 24 so if you can look past the unbelievable and unrealistic things that totally kill the story going forward, this may be the show for you. It could've been so good if they didn't take the audience for complete idiots. Don't be fooled by the Emmy wins. How this show won for anything is pathetic. American Horror Story or Boss are much better options if your looking for a new show on DVD.
What's great about it: It starts out great.
What's not so great: It doesn't end so great.

Unbelievable follow up to the first album!

This is the easily the best album I've heard that's been released in 2012. I didn't know if it would be as good as Innerspeaker, but it's actually better. Tracks 1&12 are a bit different than what they bookend, but they're still great. Lonerism has more of a warped sound and shows this band is without a doubt headed in the right direction. The sound of the synthesizers on tracks like '"Music To Walk Home By" and '"Endors Toi" are absolutely brilliant and give this album an even more expansive sound. "Apocalypse Dreams" has a great change of pace to it starting out with fast keys & drums then makes a u-turn to a blissful space rock sound. "Keep On Lying" is a sneaky good track that starts out as a simple pop song then turns into a mellow groove by the end and is one of my favorites on Lonerism. Kevin Parker just has one of those great musical minds that makes you wonder what he's going to come up with next.
What's great about it: Amazing psychedelic pop songs

A lo-fi must have!

I heard a few tracks off their Red EP that sounded great so I had to check this one out afterwards. "Youth Haunts" sounds a bit like Joy Division if I had to compare them to someone, but there are others that just sound similar to something out of the post-punk 80's with all different tempos, some faster ones with a similar pace to Hüsker Dü. This album is very easy to listen to as a whole and it takes you away then brings you back again which is always a good thing. "Afterimage" & "Untitled" are two incredible tracks that end the album perfectly.
What's great about it: Addictive songs & great sound
What's not so great: nothing

If the hard drive dies - how will I get windows loaded onto a new hard drive?

If this PC has a failed hard drive that is not recoverable, how will I be able to put windows on a new hard drive. I assume it does not ship with restore media and I doubt it has a utility to create a bootable recovery disk?
You might want to contact HP and see if they'll send you a recovery flash drive or some other type of recovery option. (Not sure how long ago you purchased yours) I just returned mine since I had that happen within 2 weeks of purchasing it and got the HP 110-414 while it was $20 off. The processor is so much faster on this one and I've had no hard drive problems. Not sure how well that answered your original question, but I wanted to give you some info on my experience if it can help at all. Good luck.

Review states no automatic return. Does the arm come up at the end of a record or does it continue to scrape against the record label?

Arm comes up at the end of record and automatically turns player off when it comes to rest.

Do you need to use a separate pre-amp when connecting this turntable to a home theater amp with no dedicated phono input?

No. I connect it to AUX. Also works in CD input.
