IPS GLOW! backlight bleed

I bought this product for professional use and gaming once in a while and because the reviews weren't bad I knew it wasn't a gaming monitor, but the IPS glow this thing puts off is awful no matter what lighting environment you're in. It's worse then a TN panel at it worst viewing angle so I returned it. There is back light bleed as well but its an IPS display, the problem above was more then enough for me to return the item.

What is the refresh rate? and why don't online retailers list the refresh rate on the product page anymore? i find it a very important figure especially for gaming monitors, where it does make a difference if it is 60hz for 144hz.
I wouldn't by this monitor for gaming. I can't remember if it was 60hz or 75hz, but when I was using it playing smite you could see it switching between frames so anything else will probably be worse off.
