How can a woman (ah, child) even hold herself so low as to tolerate any part of this. My memory goes back a long way to Kim Bassinger much the same type movie and factually (per book) she was in therapy long after it was over. Has the World changed so much any woman would so lack personal dignity as to put up with some rich but trashy man? I think he (male lead) knew it and have read he's withdrawn from any further. A man can get it, yet somehow it gets a good rating from women? Something really wrong with our Society today. Ladies, you don't keep taking it and come back for more of the same.Wow, rips up a check, but continues-Do remember, There's another bus in 15 minutes-if you understand my meaning
I am HUGE Denzel Washington fan, this just didn't hit me correctly. The "long suffering wife", the friend was probably my favorite and while Mr. Washington was put back in part, she was allowed to portray the long suffering wife, kids (now grown ups) complete brats. Takers, users, losers and NEVER wanting to take responsibility for their own actions. He tries hard but must fight his wife. Now why am I so strong on this? Because I do understand raising children and when such as their actions are allowed it's been the same since childhood, I mean REALLY children. He was trying perhaps too late, she was suffering at her husband's behavior. Bet the grown children really enjoyed "suffering as they do over rules". And even at the end, the daughter of the youngest brat is being raised, loved by the grandmother, he looks a bit of disdain at her in close to final scene. Naw, this is way too permissive and "today" for my liking
The men were plain vile, meant to hurt as much as possible, then kill. However, plans didn't finish as they expected. Oh my, from then on it's her game and I can assure you none of them liked her game at all. LOVED IT!
This set contains every episode from the tenth season of Criminal Minds, the CBS series centered on the Behavioral Analysis Unit, a special section of the FBI that specialized in profiling, tracking, and apprehending serial killers and other compulsive bad guys.
Always love this program and yes, have every one. The cast is always well groomed, spoken and not complainers over injuries while doing their duty. EXCEPT this season, one I might normally enjoy was added but she is not up to the standards and it took days for me to watch each. Finally finding they too decided to allow her to pursue other ventures as she gives her letter. Ahhh, so perhaps I will purchase this next year again
This is one small too good to miss. The acting, the plot, the ending are each wonderful. Don't be fooled thinking low budget, low price, not much. I nearly missed it, but sure glad I didn't
I knew from reading this had been made some time ago yet not released. Sure know why. These are two wonderful actors and I do not fault anyone in it or director. You work with what you are given and simply never should have been made.
I LOVE movies and can normally find something good in most any. This however after 30 minutes ended it by taking it out and putting it in trash. I do find it hard to understand positive reviews unless done by relatives of those who made or acted in it. Even actors I truly like, turned me off in this one
So different than any movie he's done and yes, well agree with first review, don't miss it. He has moved from the type of movie of the past to a new version of himself. ALL cast is excellent. Bought with minor expectations, so greatly exceeded those. Don't think you will go wrong at all, but be surprised to see a new version of one we've all known for so many years. EXCELLENT, kudo's to entire cast.
The second season of the drama Ray Donovan follows Los Angeles Jack-of-all-trades Ray Donovan (Liev Schreiber) as he works to solve the often complicated problems of his wealthy clients. Despite his career success, however, Ray struggles to deal with his ex-con father and other problems within his own family.
The acting, actors, reality of evil in society for greed, all hit's home. He is plain great in most all he does and the entire cast while not quite to his standards it works. So he's unfaithful as a husband yet faithful as a friend, what's new? The wife wants more attention, what's new? The kid's don't do as they are told, what's new? BUT it is today, it is real and while many may not think so, ah been the same a very long time. Most anything can be done to make monetary gain. Sure, not nice but neither is the nature of man to a large part. If you count on self interest in man you never will go afoul often. I do think this will probably be the last Season, but as with House of Cards, well worth seeing, excellent actors, thoughtful scenerios
