I'm very computer/camera savvy and currently have a Nikon. The main reason for this purchase was to replace my wife's lost camera and when we went to replace it, she opted for a model with a larger screen size. We wanted a camera that could be as simple as you wanted at times, but provided a wide range of variables when you wanted those. We're both Android familiar, so we thought the familiarity with Android and the Wi-Fi capability would make it the perfect choice.
It was so cumbersome getting from menu to menu that at times it was like starting all over again trying to find the same menu again. What finally did it for us was the fact that you just don't turn it off and on. The on/off button will turn it on, but it doesn't just turn it off. Depending on whether you touch the on/off button or if you hold it down, it did something different. There were times when we just left it on or blinking until it finally timed out.
I would recommend not purchasing this camera unless you want to spend way too much of your time learning how to effectively get around to make it useful.
We brought it back to BestBuy before the return policy ran out and being BestBuy, we got a no questions asked refund, which we turned right around to use on a Nikon S7000.
My Best Buy number: 2593866728
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Info and accesories for a ST76 digital camera

I recieved a Samsung ST76 digital camera as a gift a while back when I took it out of the box the only thing in it was the camera no cords of any kind or a chip for photos etc. to store items for printing I think they all were there when I first got but I guess other than the camera all is lost cords memory card etc. directions can u give advice or let me know if these items can be replaced and if so how and where??
I'm sure those items can be replaced. The first thing I would do is to go to the Samsung website and look up your model to see what comes with it. You can usually order cords, chargers, batteries, etc. from the website. Samsung also has a great customer service department that you can chat with from their website. They can guide you on what and how to order the items you need.
