Easiest Multifunction Printer to Install !!!
on July 13, 2017

The Epson Workforce Pro – WF – 3720 is the easiest multifunction printer that I’ve ever set-up! I followed the quick start sheet without any issues, until I tried installing the scanning features on a Windows 7 computer, more on that later in the review. The wireless network was recognized right away and I had had to do was input the password for the network. (There is a way to do this from your router…) Downloading the application software and drives is a no brainer; there is also just a driver package if you don’t want to use the Epson software.
Installing the printer cartridges was very simple; I inserted them into the appropriate slots and then allowed the printer to calibrate the print head. I didn’t have any difficulty installing the drivers and software on my new Windows 10 desktop and I was printing, copying and scanning with no problems. Documents printed crisply and very professionally; pictures and images printed fast with vibrant colors and my scans matched the originals. This is a very fast and capable multifunction device and would not have a problem recommending it to everyone… BUT!
When I tried to install the scanning drivers and software on a Windows 7 Pro desktop, I was unable to ever get the scanner to work and save scans. I tried everything I could think of and I have over 25 years of IT experience. This made me bring down an almost 5 star product to a 4 star.
So, to recap I found the Epson Workforce WF 3270 to be a very capable multifunction for a home office or just home. Printing over the wireless network is fast. Copies are perfect and scanning is almost as fast as our dedicated document scanner. I think as long as you don’t try to use this on Windows 7 Pro you’ll be pleased with this product. “This is a review for the Epson WorkForce Pro WF-3720 All-in-One Printer that I received free of charge to do a beta test and review.”

Small Scanner Big on Preformance

“This is a review for the Epson ES-200 Portable Duplex Document Scanner that I received free of charge to do a beta test and review.”
My impressions of this scanner are that it is one of the fastest home/office scanners that I have worked with as an IT professional. The small size initially made me apprehensive that it would not be able to handle large workloads, but I am happy to say that the scanner was able to take a stack of over 50 documents in under 3 minutes. This scanner is able to scan both sides of your documents without any issues. Set up of the scanner is very easy and it took about 10 minutes with the download of the drivers and software suite from Epson. The inclusion of USB 3.0 is a welcome hardware upgrade, which allows for very fast transfer speeds to your computer.
The included accessories to scan business cards, IDs and the software package make this a very compelling scanner to have for home or small office use. My only complaint was that the included USB cable is very short and I had to order a longer one from Amazon for it to be usable in my office. I would recommend this for anyone who needs a new scanner.

Fastest Photo Scanner

The Epson FastFoto 640 is the best scanner for archiving your pictures to your hard drive. The initial installation and configuration for the scanner was as simple as downloading the software, installing the software and driver, and plugging the scanner into the computer. The computer recognized the device right away and I was able to start scanning and saving pictures and documents to my computer. Loading photographs to the scanner was a breeze, I was able to take a stack of 30 at a time, and I was able to scan roughly 120 photos from various albums and start sharing them on social media in under 10 or so minutes without any issues. This by far is the speediest scanner that I have ever used. In addition, the Epson FastFoto 640 also scans documents and saves them as PDFs.
With the Epson scanner, you are able to scan both sides of your pictures, which is nice if you have descriptions, dates or other information on the back of your photos. In addition, the software allows you to fix minor problems with your photos such as redeye, brightness, color, saturation and will enhance the colors of faded pictures. You are able to have the enhancements or edits performed on the pictures and have the original saved with no edits done.
The included carrier sheet is a pleasant addition to use on fragile or delicate items, just place the photo or photos within the carrier sheet and you are able to scan and save without damaging the originals.
My overall experience with the Epson FastFoto 640 was positive, the scanner is speedy and accurate, and I have not experienced jams when scanning a stack of photos. The scanning software is very good for scanning and saving, but the smart photo fix is okay if you do not have any photo editing software. I would highly recommend this scanner for anyone who has lots and many non-digital photographs.
