I've always had good luck with Insignia TV's and have 2 smaller models in my home. Decided to upgrade to a 55 inch, and bought the 4K set with the Roku interface at a great price for a 55 inch 4K TV. Couldn't be more pleased with the quality and the crisp picture on this TV. Easy to set up right out of the box. You can't go wrong with this TV and you'll save yourselves hundreds of dollars !

BEWARE!!!
ByRenee68
Bought TV on Thursday night and hooked it up also on Thursday night. While the TV includes Roku (which is a plus), the TV has blur issues every time anything moves (while watching from TV, DVD, Blu-Ray, etc.). Returned TV the next afternoon and upgraded to a Samsung 4k (what a difference). My "1" in Overall Rating is for the TV itself. I would give the employee in the store a "3"-he told us that 60hz was great if you do not watch games (football, etc.)-TV would not work watching regular TV, etc. I would give the employees that helps us with the return a "5"-the employees in Best Buy Magnolia went out of the way to help us with the return of Insignia 4k 55inch TV and the purchase of a Samsung 4k TV.

No blurring on my 55" Insignia

Perhaps you got a defective model. I have not seen any blurring whatsoever when watching sports or other action TV on my 55" 4K Insignia TV. My set has a very clear, crisp picture. For the price it is a darn good TV with a great picture. Once you get it home in your own living room without 10 other TVs around it, you'll be pleased with its performance, and you'll be glad you saved yourself between 500 - 700 bucks!

Good Feature set; Poor video quality

Pros: Roku 4K integration Easy setup Low price
Cons: Screen is really dark and no amount of adjusting would make it meet my expectations - even for a budget-priced TV. Not the 4K experience that I was expecting.
Other notes: My first trip into the world of 4K was not a good one. I've never purchased an Insignia TV. No reviews existed for this TV, so I went with other Insignia TV reviews, which were generally positive. Not the best idea, as it turns out. I tried out the TV for about 10 days.
I returned this TV on 4/10/2015. A sales rep from the Magnolia area met me in the returns line. We talked for a few moments and she seemed generally embarrassed that Best Buy carries this TV. She was extremely helpful in picking out a new TV within my budget. (I ultimately chose the Sony XBR-55X850D)
I could go on, but hopefully you get the idea.
My recommendation is to not be pulled in by the budget price and features (i.e. Roku 4K). Spend a little extra and get a TV that really immerses you in the 4K experience. (Or even a decent HD experience, in general)

have not had these problems with video quality

You might have a defective unit there - my set does not have a dark picture at all; in fact the picture on this TV is quite bright and crisp. While I agree that you cannot compare it to a 2000.00 Samsung TV, for example, it is a fine 4K UHD TV set for this price and has a great picture. Perhaps your expectations were that it would be the same as a TV in a higher price range.....
