The video quality is not worth the money you are paying for this unit.
The software is so behind the times. Map function, everything is not worth it. No audio recording.
If this was half the cost, it would be worth looking at.
Very disappointed in the unit.
Returning it after one day of use.

I have been using Thinkware for just about two years. I purchased the F550 which worked great for about a year and half? I think it overheated.
About six months ago I also purchased the x500 to put in the back of my vehicle and have had no problems with that one.
Since I have GSP, when the F550 went, I upgraded to the F750.
The first one did not work at all. Returned it 10 minutes later and got a new one.
The second F750 worked for a few hours, then started to reboot all the time. I looked online, reformatted the card, upgraded the firmware which seemed to do the trick.
Two days later was looking at some video and the map data would not load.
I contacted, or tried to contact Thinkware. No response. So after ten days and no contact with Thinkware and after the unit started to turn off, stop recording and finally rebooting on its own. I returned it for a different brand.
The x500 works great. Would love to stay with Thinkware but no customer support, not even a hello return email? No phone contact?
Try the x500. Not the F750.

I upgraded from the a6000 to the a6300.
The a6300 is a little heftier feel. I really like the Magnesium body.
Sony added the audio input, but has built in stereo which is superior to the a6000. You have visual of both audio channels on the LCD screen and the sound is what you expect coming from Sony.
There are a few differences in the menu, which I have yet to explore.
I put my F/4 15-108 Sony G-Lens on the camera and it was a very snug fit.
I started with simple photos and found almost no difference in focus between the a6000 vs 6300. They both focus very well.
The huge difference is the video.
You can shoot up to 4K:
Here are the settings:
60p 50M Super 35MM
30p 50M Super 35mm
24p 50M Super 35mm
120P 100M
120p 50M
You need a U 3 card can write at least 90MB/s in order to shoot 4K
This camera shoots 1080 amazingly good. Much, much better than a6000.
I did some test shots and wow.
As for photos, did not see a huge difference in picture quality. But for video this camera is what I needed and will be testing with a Rhodes boom microphone shortly.
Overall, if you are looking to do more video with a DSLR, then this is the camera for you. If photos are all you will be taking, take your time to upgrade. No big difference I can see in the photos, expect that maybe this camera might focus a little quicker than the a6000.
The a6300 is a little heftier feel. I really like the Magnesium body.

Bought this lens for mostly night shots and I also use it for general uses. I am shooting with the A6000 and it works very well. Night shots are crisp and clear. No distortion near edge of photos that I can see. (Note: no clear nights since I bought this, go figure. However the lens picked up stars between the cloud breaks and it was very clear, clouds, star, trees)
For the money this is an excellent lens. Hope Sony can start making f/1,2 lenses.

I will start with the positives.
Screen: Incredible screen. Crisp, bright, great color.
The computer is very lightweight and fast.
Battery life is roughly 5 hours, but if depends what you are doing with the computer. For those that are browsing the net, watching videos, word processing, or similar in nature, the battery will last at least five hours.
If you are doing video editing, which is what I do, rendering video takes its toll on the batter, cuts it down to about 4 hours or so. (Adobe Premiere and AE CS4)
The good:
Keyboard layout should be wider. It takes a little effort to get used the the narrow keyboard, but the keys are responsive and well backlite, and they feel solid.
For the most part the computer runs quietly, but the fan does come on often and it does make some noise, not much, but some.
The not-so-good:
I am not calling it bad, but irritating at first. The "intelligent" screen brightness, keeps adjusting the screen brightness on me. I have tried several things to fix this problem, but it seems that there is no "real" way to turn it off. The adjustments are subtle, but you do notice them.
The touch-pad.
There is no control over the touch-pad. No Synaptic manager. Two finger scrolling works well if your fingers are in the middle of the touch-pad and you press firmly. I have had no problem with my palm striking the touch-pad and creating problems.
Overall this is a great laptop with two minor problems that I can overlook. You might want to take a hard look at this laptop with its 5th Generation i7, 12GB ram, 4GB video card, 4K screen and for this price, its a great deal.

What I love about this speaker.
The sound from this unit is simply impressive for the cost of the unit.
You have Bluetooth and wired connections.
Charge while listening.
Works great with phone calls.
The case that comes with it.

What I wish they would improve.
The volume buttons are hard to see and are not back-lit so its hard to tell which button to push to increase/decrease volume. Power, Bluetooth and the phone "buttons" are well lit.

I just bought this router, after using the Netgear N900 router, which lasted only 8 hours.
The setup was simple and the user interface was something I was used to, since I had been a long time Linksys user. The router was online in less than five minutes.
I am now getting 58mbs download speeds using the 5.0 GHZ bandwidth. Upload speeds of 20mbs, and the provider is Xfinity, which is very unreliable. I am paying for 20 mbs speeds.
Since using this router I have never dropped a signal. I am also using the Motorla cable modem, 4x Modem.
I can't complain about this router, it works great, the signal is super strong, and the interface is very intuitive.

can the lane departure and front-end collision alerts be turned off?
Yes, take the card place it in your computer, open up Thinkware software, go to settings, and make your changes there. LDW is what I think it will be under.

Where can i buy an original sd card?
You really don't need the original micro card. Place a new micro in the unit and power it on. The unit will install all the files it needs to in the unit.
If you need to reset the unit, go to Thinkware website. Download firmware and software, put the new card into the computer, format the card with
your setting changes and then replace the card into the unit.
The unit might take five minutes to make changes and then it should work fine.

Why is mine not recording audio?
You have either the mic volume turned down in the settings or muted.
You can turn on and off the microphone from the main unit. There is a little switch push and hold.
In the settings from Thinkware software you can adjust other settings as well.
Your unit might also be defective. But check to make sure the button to record audio is not set to off.

does the front and rear cam record at the same time or is it either or or does the rear cam even record. and does the motion detector work with the rear cam.
I can only answer half of this question. Hope someone else can answer the other part.
They record at the same time.
As for the motion detection, not sure if it runs off the F750 or the rear cam.
I do not have my rear cam plugged in to the front camera.
I have the x500 in the back and a full cam in the front.

Does it record or overlay your actual speed with the video?
When using the Thinkware software it shows the speed and map information in the software. It only transcodes the date and time on the video itself.

Does my parking mode work when car is turned off wi not set up
Parking mode:
Not sure what you are asking. If out of the box, parking mode is turned on. Not sure exactly the settings because I change the settings
to suit my needs.
If you want to have it recording all the time, then do as I do, if you have a cigarette lighter that is powered all the time, even when the car is turned off,
that is where I plug my units into.
I have mine to record continuously.

Yes. Push the camera button located on the front of the unit.
Its very small, so make sure you are very familiar with the unit before heading out on the road, so you don't get distracted trying to figure out
which button to push.

ON its self powered batteries and 16g card, how long will it record?
How long will it record on a 16g or 32g memory card? How long will it continuously record on new batteries?
No batteries to speak of in this. Once you power off the unit by turning off the vehicle or unplugging the unit, the unit shuts down.
At full resolution 32gb will record about 5 hours. If you want to record more, this unit will take a 64gb card and will record about eight hours or so.

What does it cost for best buy to install it with the power cable hard wired to fuse box. I have a 2014 Nissan altima
Go into Best Buy or call them. They will let you know exactly how much to hard wire it in. If they can do it.

How long is the power cord ?
Not sure exactly how long, but I have a 2011 town and country and its long enough to stretch from front to back with extra. So about ten feet.
