Very good, but save room for music

I have tried almost every device out there, both Garmin and other devices. If you want the most accurate wrist heart rate and the ability to use it recording almost every imaginable sport, than this is it. Yes it is expensive, but the value is there. This has gone through Warrior Dashes in the mud, running in the rain, swimming (have my own pool), and tracking my daily activities too. I am in my 50's so my heavy workout days are behind me but I still love all the things this watch does even if I don't use them all. Some of the things I do use it for include Mens Ice Hockey, bike riding, counting my steps, and most importantly connecting to myfitnesspal. Unlike other brands, Garmin allows you to connect to other aps with ease, such as myfitnesspal, mapmyworkouts, underarmour, and so many more running and biking aps.
Pros:
Best fitness watch period, very reliable and accurate.
Tons of free watch faces all for free!
Useful aps like Minutecast (tells you how many minutes until rain)
Looks great and built tough.
Cons:
Display. Unless you are in bright sunlight or in a dark area using the backlight it is hard to read
No music storage. I would love to run without my phone but they haven't added music storage to the watch yet. This and the display are what keep it from getting 5 stars.

Very Nice Smartwatch, poor activity watch

In what I was thinking would be the perfect fitness smartwatch, unfortunately it fell short. I bought and used this for a month before giving up. The smart watch aspect of the watch was excellent! Easy to use, easy to navigate, and even the "phone" feature worked great as my callers said the call quality was very good. Just don't buy this for fitness. The biggest beef is with Samsung who won't let you share any information with other aps such as myfitnesspal, mapmyfitness, and others. Having years and years of data in those sites, I hated I was losing all the information. You have to use S Health which doesn't like to share. myfitnesspal really helps me stay in check so for these reasons alone I am going back to my Garmin. I also didn't like the fact I could not swim in my watch, and the rotating dial (although I loved its function and design) felt cheap. It would rattle and if you tapped on it felt like plastic. The screen was amazing, watch faces were ok although most of the ones I liked I had to buy, and if you wanted to use a GPS workout such as bike riding, hiking, or running then you were not going to get more than 1 day out of the watch in battery life. As compared to my Garmin Fenix 3 HR where I get 5 or 6. Great watch if you just want the gadget, but don't bank on it for fitness. Even the heart rate was hit or miss, a lot. I did love the ease of changing out the bands.

Samsung Gear Fit2 Fitness Watch + Heart Rate: This fitness watch measures your heart rate, calories burned, distance traveled, steps taken and speed and features a Bluetooth 4.2 interface that lets you sync results with your compatible Samsung phone or tablet. Its smart notifications let you receive alerts and respond to calls from compatible Android and iOS smartphones¹ and a curved display makes it easy to view activity progress.

Overall, excellent for the price

For the money, this is one of, if not the, best activity trackers currently on the market. GPS works great, tracking your daily steps is very accurate as well. I switched from a Garmin costing a lot more that died on me twice (fenix 3HR).
PROS:
-You can workout without your phone as it stores your music right on the band and has built in GPS
-Heartrate seems to be as accurate or better than any wrist HR monitor. Actually does better than my fenix 3HR did compared to a chest strap.
-Notifications from your phone are excellent and you can decide what you want notifications from
-Do not disturb mode is easy and works great for meetings or sleeping at night
-Customization is nice with lots of free and paid watch faces and aps you can use with the band
-Automatically records workout if you forget to start your workout
Cons:
-Battery life. Have to charge daily if you do any activity that uses GPS
-Samsung ap. Not nearly as nice or user friendly as other aps I use and does not connect to most MAJOR aps that people already use such as Myfitnesspal, Mapmyrun, or Garmin Connect.
-Display is hard to read in bright light (outdoors)
-Need to keep on your right wrist to keep an uninterupted connection with wireless headphones
Overall, I highly recommend this but wanted to put everything out there I have encountered so far.

Great idea, not quite there yet

I bought this because I loved the idea of not having to carry my phone when I rode my bike, went running, or was out cutting grass. Well these worked great for 1 out of 3, only becasue I can't run longer than an hour. The sound is pretty good, and even liked how they fit in my ear. They actually stayed in place well when running. My only gripe, which was pretty major for me, was the battery life. It says they last for 2+ hours which would have been ok since most of my bike rides are about 2 hours and it takes me about 2 hours to knock out my lawn. These would only last for about an hour. Also, the case claims they will charge the headphones 2 times but I was never able to get more than 1 charge out of them. I was really excited for these and wanted them to work so bad, too bad the battery life isn't there yet. With a sad face I have returned these.

Awesome for 4 months

These were a father's day gift for me. I do a lot of biking and running, usually at least 5 days a week. Well, the sound and fit were great. Fit nice even wearing a bike helmet and stayed in place with running which was very important. I am very disappointed they have died just 4 months after purchasing them though... Won't turn on... Wish they had lasted longer considering how much my wife paid for them.

how securely do they stay in your ear when actively moving.

They actually stay in your ear well. I really liked them other than the battery life. I was only able to get about an hour of life from them.
