The Polar Pro Aqua 3+ Red Filter Is designed for color correction while scuba diving in Blue and Tropical Water. The Filter simply pushes onto the Gopro Hero3+ waterproof housing. This filter allows the camera to capture vibrant tropical colors while diving from 4 to 25 meters. Why do you need a red filter while diving? The GoPro Hero3+ has an Auto White Balance, which improperly registers colors due to red light loss under water. This is why underwater videos often turn out very green or very blue. A red filter helps compensate for red light loss and allows the camera to properly record beautiful reef colors. Filter Slides quickly on and off of the Hero3+ Waterproof housing. Glass Lens for maximum scratch resistance. Working Depth: 10 to 80 Feet. Color correction for blue and tropical water.

Great Idea, Even Better Results

This is a great idea, I absolutely love these filters for the GoPro. Saves me so much time in post when i'm making videos from family trips and cool videos for my Youtube page. I've put this filter though a lot and its stood up to my clumsiness. The results are nothing short of spectacular. I went ahead and bought a few more filters from these guys.
What's great about it: Easy install, Durable, Affordable
What's not so great: Nowhere to store it while im diving and dont want to use the filter.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Really Helps for Close up shots

How Often Used:1-2 times a week
My experience with this Macro lens was nothing short of extraordinary. The product does exactly what they say it does. I was at the beach filming all the little crabs and getting seashell close ups with my GoPro. i did some comparison shots of my own so that i could see the difference first hand. and much better with the filter vs. without. just a piece of advise to anyone reading this, i had my camera set in the super wide mode and it gave a fish eye effect but after consulting the company they told me to shoot in the normal frame setting and now everything is perfect. i recommend this to anyone filming above ground or doing shallow water snorkeling. works wonders.
What's great about it: Superb close range quality
What's not so great: its a heavy product but that just means its good quality
I would recommend this to a friend!
