I would rate these 5 stars. My first pair lasted a year and half, and didn't even go out all the way- the range just seemed to die down. Battery life is good. I am very rough on them, and they seem to last. Bought a second pair.
Con: I wish range was longer, for I'm in and out of the truck all of the time. And I wish outside notices weren't obvious, but to get that I'd have to buy the more expensive model
