Awesome phone!

Solid performance, beautiful design, the latest processor as of 04/28/2017, Bluetooth 5.0! They fixed the problem that I had with the Galaxy S7 Edge that I often accidently touched the edges of the screen, it doesn't happen with the "edges" of this screen anymore. I have a Google Pixel XL and I'm going to switch for the Samsung Galaxy s8, not the S8+, because even with my big hands I have to stretch my hand to be able to reach for the fingerprint sensor of the S8+. The screen of the S8 is even bigger than the Google Pixel XL by 2% already and the total size of the phone is smaller than the Pixel XL.
In terms of the software update, it's slower to be released than for the Google Pixel XL, but it's faster than for the carrier phones, like AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, etc.
You can't go wrong with this phone, in general terms, comparing all the features, pros and cons, it's the best in the market.
Pros:
-Design
-Wireless Charging
-Latest processor
-Bluetooth 5.0
-Mobile HDR Premium technology
-No problems (at least for me) in touching the edges of the screen accidently.
-water/dust resistance IP68
-Good battery optimization
-USB Type-C
-headphones 3.5mm input
-AKG earbuds included
-Great quality camera
-Beautiful display (image)
-USB Type-C to USB adapter included
-USB Type-C to USB adapter included
-Pay safely virtually at any store with Samsung Pay (something that Apple Pay and Android Pay can't do)
-Comes already with Android 7.0 Nougat
-Expandable storage via MicroSD Card.
Cons:
-Comes with 64GB of internal memory with no other options with more storage other than through the MicroSD card
-No unlimited storage on the cloud for pictures and videos (like Google Pixel and Pixel XL)
-Fingerprint in one of the worst places possible.
-Sound not that great with only one speaker (not stereo)
My Best Buy number: 2983295268
I would recommend this to a friend!

DO NOT BUY
By ROB2017
Do not buy the unlocked version. Samsung will not update. They abandoned the S7 unlocked and will do the same with this one. Search the internet before buying this version.

You have to do some research about it before making people not to buy a really good phone. Let me educate you...
The clean Android Operational System first is released to Google Phones, like the Google Pixel and Google Pixel XL for example, after that all the other companies like Samsung, Sony, LG, Huawei, etc, want to put their stuff (apps, personalization, etc) inside their phones which create a delay in releasing the new Android version to their phones, for Samsung for example, it usually takes from a few months up to a year, after that, the Phone Carriers (like AT&T, Verizon, etc) want to put their stuff too (more bloatware), which delays the release even further, so your review is not accurate, because it could make people want to buy the carrier-locked versions of the phone, which is way worse, not only the carrier-locked versions receive the updates later than the unlocked ones, but it is really hard to resell later. Also, it is sometimes a headache to unlock the phone with the carrier.

Please, don't live in the past, phones (or the correct name nowadays: Smartphones) are not only for calls anymore, they are made to substitute your laptop, tablet, etc for all simple tasks and there's not a big difference between smartphones in terms of call quality, all new smartphones are good for calls in general, no big issues in a long time, it all depends on which phone carrier you use and where you use it. I've used AT&T and Project Fi for a long time without any issues at all with several different smartphones. Also, if you want to use that argument, then even TVs are not "TVs" anymore because they have apps, use the internet, and you can even play games directly on the TV without the need for any console... Please update your knowledge because the world will not stay in the past with you and if you don't catch up you won't even be able to get a job. How could someone get a job if they don't even know how to use a computer? An example is my father-in-law. He doesn't know how to use a computer or a smartphone, that's why he can't get any job that's better than the one he has (washing and cleaning cars), earning an amount that can barely pay his rent. Just so you know, he's in the age of getting retired, but he can't because of that.

1-Yes, in fact, I know what that is, I’m a musician, do you know at least how to play a C#minor on a piano? My knowledge doesn't stop at only knowing what high-resolution audio means.
I’m a heavy Android user and for the amount of apps and games I download I need at least from 70gb to 75gb of internal memory because if you try to transfer apps and games to the external memory sooner or later they’ll start having problems and the external memory is still not as fast as the internal memory.
2-1TB is nothing to someone that wants to record several 4K videos during a lifetime, especially for someone that work with 4k videos (video producing, editing, recording, etc).
3-Eventually I got used to the fingerprint location, but that doesn’t mean it’s on the best place possible to put a fingerprint sensor on. My camera still gets smudges once a week or so and I still have to reach for the fingerprint sensor, that won’t ever change, at least until the next Samsung Galaxy model.
4-I do prefer headphones, not only for the sound quality but for privacy, and to not bother other people as well (to not be disrespectful, do you know what that means?). The thing is, at night when I go to bed I want to watch a video or two with my wife and it is totally not practical to get an adapter and 2 headphones to watch a couple of YouTube videos. My review was made thinking of users in general, not only you, so I’m sorry if you had your feelings hurt because I didn’t think specifically of you, but of other users in general. Next time, try to think of other people too, not only about yourself.
