i have used hundreds of these stylish discs and have not had a bad disc yet, the retro look is really cool.

After purchasing the R-28 F floor speakers which are Excellent, i chose to add these small book shelf speakers, gee these things sound awsome for their size, I compared to the bose bookshelf, these outperform them all.I will be adding a Sub Woofer, and center speaker down the road, I purchasd these at another store they were on sale, I recommend these small wonders!

I purchased the blue solo 2 head phones at another store, they sound good and are very fashionable, only thing I noticed after about 45 minutes they kinda make ears sore, but thats not a biggie, I would recommend,

excellent turn table

this is a nice turn table, nice heavy direct drive, designed after the famous SL 1200 by technics, looks about the same as well, being a direct drive unit thats a no brainer, has very accurate strobe light and functions well. I added a weighted chrome record clamp which helped the sound quality, I recommend this unit , Its fun to kick back and play vinyl, brings back memories, and this being usb you can run into your pc if wanted to. love it!
What's great about it: well built, performs well, priced right
What's not so great: nothing
I would recommend this to a friend!

Compatible with...:Mac
this unit replaced a WD hard drive that was a pure pain, this unit works so much nicer, and has a 3 year warranty from the manufacturer. I remedied the bright light by putting a small piece of self adhesive aluminum duct tape to defuse the brightness a little, works great and looks great, this is a very good drive thats fast and quiet as well, being on sale was nice too. I used the store pick up and that was nice,
What's great about it: ease of use, performs fast, nice looking unit
What's not so great: only thing I don't like is the bright light,
I would recommend this to a friend!

Can you monitor thru RCA jacks to receiver while simultaneously recording thru USB connection to a computer?
you proab need tape monitor button, older units have them, and even some equalizers do as well

you need some sort of amp or receiver and yes speakers are needed or use headphones, you need amp, this turn table has no amp

Can this turntable be hooked up to a Sony DVD ATS DAV-FR1 home theater system?
this unit has the old rya jacks they do make adapters to plug into newer systems as long as your unit has a imput jack and amp

no it comes with a pretty good cartridge, you can purchase better ones but the one that comes with works good

Need A Receiver to Work?
I recently got the AT-LP120 as a gift but have not been able to use it because I think it needs a receiver to work. Is that correct? I have a sonos playbar, a TV with 3.5mm jack and USB port, and a blu ray player with a USB port and I was hoping I could just plug it into one of these but none produce sound. Help.

Will this work with a regular (1990s) stereo (Analog)?
I am an old timer with records going back into the 60s & 70s. My old turn table has stopped working. Would this turn table work without a PC. I want to keep the sound with my amp/reciever.
yes you don't need to hook up usb if you don't want to, works fine with out, just a nice option if you ever want too
