I replaced my HP with the Epson WF 3640 several weeks ago and began regretting it almost immediately. At first, I thought it was just a matter of getting used to a different user interface. Then I realized that the control panel was unnecessarily complicated. Among other things, you need to go through multiple steps just to replace ink cartridges -- which you'll be doing quite a bit of since they don't last any time at all. And good luck finding them since the major office supply stores can't manage to keep enough in stock (perhaps because the ink runs out so quickly). When I finally bought a replacement cartridge online, it lasted through about 10 pages before running out (the supplier assumed it was defective and replaced it). The "second" paper tray doesn't work. And now that I have spent $70 on 2 of the 3 additional cartridges that are low, the printer has taken itself offline and is not working. At this point I am seriously considering just trashing it and writing off the $140 as money wasted on a failed experiment, It is the absolute worst piece of electronic equipment I have ever owned.
