Nice, But Flawed All In One

USB connection via included adapter, but is wireless. Works well, even has a dedicated sleep button but will not wake the PC. Annoying.
Keys work for both Windows and Android, dedicated buttons for the later, fN key for full functionality for the former. (Prt Scr button!)
They require some oomph or they won't register all keystrokes. You don't need to jab them, of course, but don't be surprised if it misses a few along the way if you're not consistent.
Touchpad is wonky. Buttons are fine, but tapping and scrolling need work. One gentle swipe will move mountains, next touch will need you to grind your fingers to get it to move.
Scroll has a mind of its own. Either soft (where it slowly drifts for a bit after you remove your fingers) or hard where one scroll can take you half a page down when you only wanted to read the next line.
The software is unobtrusive, free download as well. Easy to install.
At MSRP of $39.99, not impressed. Doesn't feel like a $40.00 device. At the current (5/21/17) pricing of $26.99, much easier pill to swallow.
At the price I paid, with rewards, it's a no brainer. That said, it definitely has issues that keep it from being worth more than the current price tag and definitely not the $40.00 Logitech wants.

Experience a new way of using your smartphone with the LG G5 smartphone from Verizon. The LG G5 is partially modular and features a slide-out battery that can be swapped out for a camera grip with a larger battery to power the flash. The LG G5 smartphone comes in a sleek titanium finish and sports an advanced, wide-angle camera system.

Powerful, Modular, Excellent

This is one very capable Android device. Oh, and it's a phone, too. ;)
Blazing fast, with enough hardware to allow quite a bit of multitasking and no lag. I've had QSlide apps running in the foreground, a game on hold in the background AND music playing, all at once and it never broke a sweat.
No lag, no hesitation and a nearly instantaneous fingerprint scanner/reader for secure access.
Oh, and charging the battery? Insane. With QuickCharge 2.0, you can have a full battery in about 1.5 hours, roughly, but with QuickCharge 3.0, you can be at 100% in 60-70 minutes, sometimes less!
As for the modular design and swappable battery? First off, thanks LG! Love it! Second, I use the swappable battery more often than I thought I would. It's so much easier to just swap the battery than it is to chase down a cable to charge it with. This is one of the very few design flaws that the phone faces... USB C instead of micro USB that we've come to know and love. You'll need an adapter that converts the end piece over to fit the phone's new port. Make sure it's a certified device and make sure it has a 56k resistor built in. (Anker is a good, certified brand for this.)
Call quality is stunning, video and photos are gorgeous on the quad HD display (not to be confused with 4K, they're not the same) and the screen's LED instead of AMOLED, so no worries of burn in!
Cameras are incredible. Full featured suite built into the phone, incredible wide angle lens, and even the selfie cam is high on megapixels! Camcorder feature works really well and records in 60p and 120p for high speed, full HD quality that'll make your jaw drop.
SD card slot for expandability! No USB OTG, however. :(
My only crits are as follows:
It's a bit bigger than expected. One hand usage is difficult, sometimes.
We're not getting the B&O HiFi audio module in the US.
Nothing extra included. No C to micro adapter, no headphones. (No headphones!!!)
No water protection. (Do not get this wet, one and done.)
I absolutely recommend this powerhouse beast of a phone. It's a full on entertainment center that games quite well.

Is there any reason why this would not be compatible with a MiBox 4K ultra? I have returned one already because the letter "r" would not work, now the second one has the same problem. So I'm wondering if it is the keyboard or the box?

The US version of the Mi Box is Android TV based, international versions are not. This will work with only certain Android and Android TV devices, but not all.

Having a US Mi Box, I can attest that it's the box, not the keyboard. It's a finicky little device that works with only the things it chooses to.

How to vet it to work on smart tv

It needs to be Android TV. The keyboard is made for Windows and Android. Smart TVs are a different type of device.

will this work with the Amazon Fire Stick ?

No guarantee, but Fire's OS is Android based, so there's a chance. If the Fire Stick has a USB port, this will connect to it, if it doesn't, this will not be able to work with your device.
