This works great on the Spectre x2, however is a bit short. Input is nice and there is little lag.
Please note that HP's naming is very confusing. There are two Active Stylus Pen's. The being said, one is made for the Spectre x360 and this one is made for the Spectre x2....It seems that some of the reviews that left low scores were confused and trying to use this on the wrong device..Why HP named both styluses the same and then the devices so similar is beyond me...
Also, the product image is different from the actual product. There isn't a button on the top, it's flat.

Solid 2-in-1 for a good price
ByCharlie
Bought this for my brother-in-law. He was looking for a cheap laptop. This device was within his budget and also is a 2-in-1, so we bought it. It is primarily used for online video streaming. It has worked well and been reliable. The only issues have been Google Chrome crashing...we've tried uninstalling and reinstalling, but there are still issues with. There haven't been issues with other browsers.

Possible Chrome fix
February 28, 2016
Try right clicking on the Chrome icon, go to properties, and then compatibility. From there check the box in the area for Compatibility mode and choose Windows 8 from the drop down. This seemed to fix it for me. Also, go into internet explorer, options, and then under the advanced tab you'll see "Accelerated graphics", try checking the box that says "use software rending instead of GPU rendering". After rebooting I didn't have the display driver crashes anymore.
Until there is a driver update those suggestions should help you out!

Is the TrueSense camera read-facing?
If the TrueSense camera is rear-facing, it would not be usable for gesture recognition, would it?
Unfortunately, it is rear facing and not intended for "Windows Hello".
