You can get a wifi camera for much much less that has the same or better image quality than this camera. Read google post before you buy. You will find many complaints about these cameras going offline constantly. The complaints go back from the beginning and nothing has been done to correct the issue. I called customer service about the connection issues. The tech was friendly but could not fix the issue. It is NOT a poor signal or interference with my router. I have two other wifi cameras (different brand) that never lost a connection for no reason. You will find the Nest cam pauses while watching live view and sometime will not start back until you exit and restart the app. I would not buy a Nest product again until they correct the connection issues.
Also, a storage fee of $150.00 a year for two cameras keeping only 10 days of storage is outrageous. They need to make the camera so that you can stream to your desktop or some other server. The other two cameras I have can do that and I bough two of those for the price of one Nest cam.
Sorry for the poor review Nest but these are the facts that only you have control over.
