Died after a month

I purchased this phone on 1/21/2017 and it completely died on 3/3/2017. Took it back to the store where we purchased it and was told that because we didn't have Geek Squad protection (which the phone was not eligible for) that it was a manufacturer warranty issue, and I would have to deal with Samsung directly. They wouldn't even help me in the Store with this process. The description online about the warranty is very misleading, it states a 12 month from purchase, what they don't tell you, is it is 12 months from the original owners purchase date. Called Samsung and they have informed me the manufacturer warranty is also expired. Now I have a phone that I have only had for a little over a month that is useless. I am very upset at the lack of care and the misleading advertisement. I would have been better off spending a little more money from the start and buying new. Don't waste your time or money buying refurbished. It is just not worth it.
