You can't go wrong with Google Play gift cards! I've only been letting them download free aps, so I figured i would get them some gift cards for Christmas to allow them to select some paid games and/or movies.
They loved it! I also love that it's hooked up to MY Google Play account, sot hey have to ask to use their gift card money, so I can monitor and make sure their purchases are age appropriate.

I tried everything I could. I called and emailed Google for help. Turns out my wireless router is not compatible with the Chrome Cast device. Bummer. my kids love Netflix, and my husband and I watch a lot of Hulu. Was really looking forward to being able to "cast" to my TV from my computer, and not have use the HDMI cable and leave my computer across the room. So I had to send it back to Best Buy.
Best Buy was great at allowing me to return the device to the store, they even paid the return shipping on it. I'll be getting a Kindle Fire Stick soon. It comes with it's own remote, and it actually streams THROUGh the device, so no additional computer/tablet/phone is required, unlike the Chrome Cast.

I am doing a 90 day fitness challenge, and am using My Fitness Pal to track activity and calories. But I was just guessing at my calorie burn for my TerraFit workouts (High Intensity Interval Training). So I wanted a more accurate way to track my calories burned during my work outs, as well as just my daily routine.
The FiBit Charge is AWESOME! (The only reason I didn't pay the extra to get the FitBit HR is that the majority of reviews I read stated that the heart rate tracker was not accurate). I love that it tracks my calories burned as well as my sleep. You can log your food as well. I love that if you are using My Fitness Pal, you can sync your two accounts together so you only have to input your information at one site, but can see your data from both places.
I had a Best Buy Gift card to use towards my purchase, and I cashed in some SwagBucks for Best Buy money. I could not be happier with my purchase.
My only complaint (and this is my own fault) is that I thought it would be nice to get the blue band, instead of the black. And now I find out there is all kinds of FitBit jewelry accents you can buy from Etsy or Ebay or even Amazon... so now I'm wishing I HAD gone with the basic black one.
It was money well spent! And I know I'll continue using my FitBit Charge even after this 90 day fitness challenge is over!

I have the fitbit flex wristband. How long does it take to charge.
I have a fitbit. Charged on my computer and all the lights lit up and left it for a hour. When I put it in the wrist band, and walked, I did not see any lights blinking. How can I set up a report for my activity on my phone. I just don;t know how to use it.
My FitBit Charge took less than 2 hours to get to fully charged after I took it out of the box.

Fitbit Flex - Tracking what you eat
Is this Fitbit Flex good for people with diabetes to track what they eat and their sugar intake?
Yes. You download the app to your phone. From your phone you can see your calories burned and steps taken, but you can also log in the food you eat. In addition, if you use My Fitness Pal, you can sync your FitBit to your MFP account, so you can see your stats from eithre site (the FitBit app or the MFP).
When you input your food to MFP, it will give you all of your nutrition information, including your sugar intake for the day.
When you input food into your FitBit app, you can click on the link that says "nutrition information," and it will give you all of the information on that particular food.
However, I personally find MFP more convenient for being able to see my nutrition information quickly at a glance.
Each app is great on on it's own, together they are awesome!
