BackLIGHT BLEED at bottom and corner

I was so excited to turn on the TV only to discover the backlight bleeds through the bottom and corner. VERY ANNOYING/Distracting when watching shows/movies with dark to black backgrounds. Price, Picture and Color wise it is excellent but if you try to watch, let say, "Underworld Evolution" do not bother, you will not enjoy it due to the backlight issue.

Went to Best Buy, TV department supervisor suspects it was made that way like the Westinghouse Brand. WTD? Really

I am returning it and ordering a new one to hopefully get a properly made one. It is no wonder, supervisor stated Toshiba does not make it anymore and subs it out. Great. :-(

Ghost in the TV & Halloween is over.

Oh Wonderful, my wife and I were awaken at 4:30 in the morning, by voices coming from the TV, no picture just sound for about 10 seconds, at first I was dreaming but the sound was really strange then I woke up then my wife woke up scared out of her wits. Just called Toshiba CS, they opened a "FEEDBACK" call back file and will investigate and get back to me. As of today they had several calls about this issue but do not know what to do about it for now.

Might Have to Return

We just bought this TV yesterday. Picture seems great and the Chromecast seems to function as advertised. However, my wife thinks the TV is haunted. Over exaggeration, I know, but about 5-6 times last night the volume from the TV would turn on for about 30 seconds waking us up. The TV was off, the screen never turned on, but all of the sudden we could hear the ESPN broadcasters covering the days games. I temporarily solved it by unplugging the TV for the night. I'll try to find out today if there's an issue in the Settings somewhere. If not it's going back, which is a shame because everything else seems great.

Does this really have terrible backlight bleed?

Mine does, returning for a replacement when they ever get it but have to return before January 15 2017

Where can i find how to connect the TV with my Iphone?

You need to download the Google Chrome Cast onto your phone or follow instructions in the box TV was shipped in.
