Just bought this front load washer after returning a top load washer. The top load washer would not get whites clean. This washer got them bright white after just one load. Very impressed. Easy to use.

This dryer would not get the clothes dry after the recommended drying time was completed. I would have to add more time after almost every load. Sometimes the dryer would not shut off and run for several hours.
What's great about it: Has a lot of features
What's not so great: Clothes not dry after drying time complete.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Does not get whites clean.

I bought this top load washer last month. After 3 weeks of use I had to return it to the store I bought it from. My whites were dingy after the first load. I thought it was a fluke. After 2 more loads of whites they were still dingy. My wife was folding the last load of whites and asked if I had noticed how dingy they were. Our previous washer always got the whites bright white. We gave it to our daughter who needed a washer and we purchased this one. If this machine doesn't get the whites clean I'm not so sure any of my other clothes are getting clean.
