I would say it is a good sub but not earth shattering. If you are looking for a nice tight bass, go with this. I have not hooked it up wirelessly yet so cannot comment on it. But overall a good sub.
On pointer the first day so sound was coming out. magically when I restarted my receiver it started working on the LFE with the LFE switch turned on of course.

Got this recently along with a Pioneer SC 81. Hooked them up and wow the music that comes out is incredible. My dogs were shivering the first day.
However I got to say I am not as impressed as I was thinking I would be after listing to the ML 40s. I was thinking I would be blown away but not quite there yet.
I single wired them first and was not impressed at all. However after bi-amping them I did feel a lot of differences, So I would suggest to do so if you do not own a separate amp yet. I do however want to get a separate amp pretty soon to appreciate what these have to offer.
Overall I would say buy them but I am pretty sure you will appreciate them more if you have a standalone amplifier in place.

Full range and then some
By Dino
I upgraded to the ML 60's a week after I purchased the ML 40's to get a fuller bass response for 2 channel audio. This was indeed the case, though the mids and highs were much improved as well. I played several 2 channel sacd's as well as multichannel music and movies. I found the desired outcomes for all of these choices to be pleasing to the ears as well as clean, pure replicated instrumental purity at high volume levels. The neighbors probably regret my purchase, but other than that, I would highly recommend the MarLo 60xt's to anyone in the market for new towers.

Dino what is the subwoofer, it looks impressive. I just bought the 60 xt that it is going to blow me away after hearing the ML 40s but not yet unfortunately. However I got to say I have not hooked this thing to an amp yet. I bought a Pioneer SC 81 which is driving this thing

Enjoy high-quality audio with this Pioneer SP-FS52 floor speaker that features three 5-1/4" polypropylene woofers and oversize magnets for powerful bass and a 1" soft dome tweeter that delivers dynamic highs.

can these speakers be hooked up to plasma tv

Of course, you have to buy a receiver for that. Plug your speakers into the receiver and then receiver out to your plasma
