Out of the box they sound better than the PSB Alpha B1, but they lose some ground after they are fully worn in. Why is this important? Because the B1 have been the standard for small speakers for 25 years. This one is so close, and yet it cost have as much. It doesn't produce low end because it is designed for transient speed throughout. It is highly recommended to use a quality subwoofer for full response (I prefer the Klipsch 8" 150 watt downfiring for perfect mix.)
The records are audiophile quality and some of the duets are memorable, but she could have left the voice over with Elvis and the country singer Blake Shelton. There are many great country singers, but he is not one of them. His desire to pronounce his words as back woods as I've heard does make for good listening (and I'm a Southerner). The other songs are worth the price without the two I listed.
