Good but was expecting a little more...

This is one of the more expensiv 32 inch LCDs on the market for 2015, so my expectations were pretty high. Let me start with the bad and I'll finish with the good. I thought the Smart TV functions were kind of a joke, but I was prepared for that after having read many reviews on many other smart TVs. Tried to stream on the HBO Go app and it worked but very jittery or, sluggish might be a better word (choppy and jittery). Streamed on the Netflix app next and that was better, but every five or so minutes would get a slight hiccup in the video stream on that one as well. Never had a streaming issue with Netflix on any other set up in my house. But like I said, the Smart TV was not the reason I bought this TV. I bought it for the high quality, 3 hdmis and 20 watts total audio output. This combination is almost non-existent in 32 inch LCDs. I thought the picture was pretty strong and quite customizable, even with a dynamic contrast function that actually works (on medium). The sound was also quite good, relatively speaking with a few good sound presets. To tweak the picture and sound takes quite a bit of clicking through the menu. But my main gripe was that the bright levels we're not consistent through the panel going from left to right, you can see sections that were brighter than other sections depending on the content you were watching, esp darker content. Finally, the audio sync was an issue on this TV. Even though there is an adjustment for audio sync, the audio didn't need to be delayed it needed to be sped up. But there was no adjustment for that, so audio was clearly not as in sync as the three other TVs in my house. Guess I'm just going to have to live with that one because i am keeping this TV. I guess I just expected these 2 fairly annoying issues not to be present in a panel at this price point.

Can The noise reduction function be disabled?

When you look at this TV in the store, it is obvious there must be some sort of noise reduction function that is on by default and it basically removes a lot of the fine detail from the 1080 P picture. For example people's faces do not show the fine lines etc. Other cheaper sets that do not have this function do not have this issue either. Can this function be disabled and if so, how easy is it to do?
Yes there's an option to disable it
