More convenient cooking. This Samsung range has a 5-burner cooktop so you can prepare multiple dishes at the same time. Plus, its smooth ceramic surface and steam clean option make it easy to keep spotless.

I love my new stove! I admit, the black top took a little getting used to. It shows things more than my old smooth top range; but a quick search on BB showed that all of the cooktops are black these days. However, I found that a little all purpose cleaner does the trick for surface smudges (use Scotch Brite ceramic cooktop cleaner for major spills). The oven: if at first you don't succeed, RTFM (read the flippin' manual!). The first batch of cookies I made in it, I was a bit concerned... brown on the bottom and a bit under-cooked in the middle. Round 2: let's try this convection feature! I used the auto conversion that automatically adjusts the cook temp for recipes that give you a conventional often temperature, but no convection temperature. LOVE IT. These are the best cookies I have ever baked. I'm hooked!
As for the stove top: it does boil quickly. Once you add pasta to a pot of boiling water, turn that bad boy down to 6, or you're going to have a mess on your hands!
Very happy with my purchase. I bought the Samsung because it was rated well by Consumer Reports and by purchasers on Best Buy. I'm sure I'll be happy for years to come!

I'm happy with my Samsung microwave. Word to the wise - look carefully at dimensions before purchasing. There are larger microwaves out there, but I went with this size because I didn't want something that hung too low over my stove. I'm just heating things up in it and cooking some veggies... not preparing a 20 pound turkey!

Our cabinet opening is somewhat limited, so while I was interested in a Samsung or LG due to their ratings, we went with the LG (note: I noticed some dimensions on the BB website are incorrect. I recommend verifying the specifications on the manufacturer's website).
This refrigerator is gorgeous. It holds a ton (I have two teenage boys... thank GOD it holds a ton). It's quiet, and we love the water and ice dispenser on the door. I also like that we can get to the ice compartment on the door and empty it if we want to stock up on ice for a gathering. The freezer has an amazing amount of storage. We couldn't be happier with our purchase!
Helpful advice: You have to open the right door before you can open the left. Store frequently used items on the right side of the refrigerator.

You can complete large loads in no time, since the dishwasher features a 3rd rack and a RackMatic system that lets you customize the interior space. If you're busy, you can just set the start time in advance using the 24-hour delay-wash feature.

I absolutely love my new Bosch dishwasher. Although my previous dishwasher was 17 years old and still worked, I wanted a Bosch because of how quiet they are. I always do my homework before making a major purchase, and chose this model because of the Db rating and the third rack. I love the third rack - it's the perfect place for small items and gets them squeaky clean.
Some people complain that the Bosch doesn't dry well. Read the manual - using the sanitize setting dries plastic well. The extra shine setting should help, too; but I haven't tried it yet.
My only complaint is that I end up running it half full... it holds so much I run out of clean silverware before the dishwasher is full! ;)
